“What a lovely place. Not recommended for elderly, pregnant, less-abled though. The walk up does have some steps, but there's a lot of slippery chalk to contend with going up or down the hill. Only been once so maybe there's others ways/paths but we went up 1 way and down another and both slippery in Autumn. Great views at the top. Nice little woods for kids to play hide and seek in. Will definitely visit again.”

“This is my absolute favorite spot for wild swimming — peaceful, refreshing, and surrounded by nature. There’s also private fishing available and scenic trails just a short walk from the station, making it easily accessible. Parking is available near the station too, which adds to the convenience. A hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts!”

“Just had a great visit here. 10 of us including children took our own tents and camped in the main field. A really nice vibe, children playing, adults happy, fairy lights on guy ropes at night and the glow of fire pits after dark made the stay a really good time. You don’t really need to go anywhere else, crazy golf, zip wires, bar, restaurant, shop.”

“This is a great place to walk, the views from near the horse monument are great, you can see the cranes away at Southampton and on a good day the type 42? On the top of Portsdown Hill. There are a lot of car parks so if one is busy drive down the road to the next one. The car parks are free, well done, to I think Winchester council, so many councils want to take so much in fees for parking instead of realising these open spaces are needed for relaxation by us all. The car parks are a bit tight for larger motorhomes but OK for camper vans, the roads are country lanes so a big vehicle will need to be careful. Great place to visit with great views all around.”
