βFabulous rooms. Modern and clean. Food was good. Was on group booking, and was a little restricted to what we were told, but main course was tasty. Drinks as expected, but Lottie made some great suggestions and banging cocktails. Nice to see her have enthusiasm and hospitality skills to adapt to different customer needs. Well doneβ
βWonderful service. Diane has always been amazing and all her colleagues, very helpful with advice and suggestions.β
βHave been to 54 restaurants in Stoke. This restaurant by far has the best naan breads! Service is great and staff are extremely friendly. Highly recommend!β
βI stayed in the Eagle's Nest apartment while workng for a week in Stafford, only 15-20 minutes away. Helen and Andy have curated a wonderful old building into a delightful combination of B&B plus the flat. I had a warm welcome (the B&B bit - so much better than a code and a lockbox) with the offer of a complementary home made flapjack on my arrival. I was shown up to the flat and around it, so that all thereafter was simple. Helen is enthusiastic about the house and its history and was a great host - the welcoming bowl of fruit and biscuits is always a nice touch. Plenty to do in and around Eccleshall and Helen showed me to a 5K into the countryside from the house that I did a couple of times. Pubs and food in Eccleshall. Give it a go.β
βWe went to see the Christmas decorations within the main house. There's no extra charge for National Trust Members but you still have to book a time slot. Absolutely fabulous displays with really interesting info boards to explain the function of each room at Christmas, and some very clever themes applied to the decorations. Fun activities for kids, some very enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to support the visit. Well worth a look if this is your kind of thingβ
βAbsolutely lovely place . Friendly staff , great service , amazing food and really good value. We will be returning for sure .β
βWeβre new to the area and have been enjoying the occasional breakfast here for a few weeks now. Itβs a quirky, unassuming village cafe run in a friendly, polite and efficient manner. The food is awesome: hearty, tasty and cooked with care. Great value for money, too, which is the cherry on top. Weβll continue to enjoy our brekkies at The Corner House (followed by a long stroll around the Mere!) and recommend others do, too.β
βAn absolutely beautiful 7 course meal. We couldnβt fault anything. 5 stars βοΈ isnβt enough for this fantastic place. My only one regret is, all the staff signed a birthday card for Lucy, and she forgot to pick it up. She was gutted on our way home.β
βGreat 1st time back after lockdown. Clear and well organised system. Meticulously clean plus normal professional friendly environment, good ale and sports.β
βThe accomodation was excellent. We had a converted outbuilding to ourselves with a choice of bedrooms, a small kitchen, lounge and conservatory. A friendly welcome from Eileen together with a couple of generous slices of cake was a perfect start to the stay at the farm. There was plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk etc and the kitchen was well appointed with immaculate and modern appliances. The owners have got a Labrador puppy named Harper who was absolutely adorable. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely return to this idyllic and peaceful location with stunning views of the countryside. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. We ended up having a curry in a restaurant called "New royal balti" in Audley which was superb. Being non licensed we took a bottle of wine there from the Tesco store a few doors away.β
βA beautiful wedding venue with tons of character and charm - the grounds are stunning and Emma and the wedding team are all so welcoming and friendly.β
βExcellent meals with a good variety of options to meet dietary needs/preferences, quality drinks with a terrific atmosphere and excellent customer service from the friendly staff. Would definitely recommend dining here. Thanks a lot.β
βReally enjoyable evening, made most welcome buy all and the gents down stairs in the bar area very friendly too.β
βOnly been in the Berryhill Club a few times as it's my dad's local. There is always a welcoming atmosphere and the best part is it still has it's old character.β

βMy grandsons blessing was held in the Nuns Room, it was a perfect venue. Recently refurbished it had charm and character and was beautifully presented. Our buffet was delicious, we made our choice on Mathews advice, it was perfect. The staff are all so flexible. They are polite and friendly , nothing is too much trouble. A perfect venue !! βA large group of us had a wonderful meal at the Dog and Doublet, while staying at a local Airb&b. We were treated excellently, by friendly, helpful and very attentive staff. Our food was delicious and came quickly, high quality and worth the money. Definitely recommended.β
βAt last! A proper pub with proper beer, where you can have a proper conversation without intrusive TV screens and not given over to diners rather than drinkers. The Shrewsbury Arms has been completely and tastefully redecorated, with William Morris pattern wallpapers throughout. We (two couples) went on a Wednesday evening where a generous selection of cheese, pate and salami + biscuits was available - all free! There were plenty of customers there, although like many 'wet' pubs I can imagine it could be pretty quiet at times. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back. PS: Did I mention that the beer was excellent? I can recommend Pig On The Wall... Edit: Typoβ
βWe had the fantastic opportunity to perform our LED shows at the Telford International Centre, and it was truly a brilliant experience. The venue is outstanding β spacious, modern, and professionally managed. The atmosphere was energetic and inspiring, and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. We felt warmly welcomed and fully supported by the on-site team. Itβs an ideal location for high-quality events, and we would be absolutely thrilled to return. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the TIC β weβre looking forward to coming back soon!β¨ THE BLACKOUTSβ
