“I attended the mince pie making class tonight and it was a joy to be there.All the ingredients were laid out for when we arrived and we were taught with such ease that everyone found it enjoyable. We were able to look around the mill and the member of staff is so knowledgeable about the history he made it quite entertaining. Then a lovely glass of mulled wine accompanied by a warm mince pie was enjoyed by all. The time and effort the friendly staff put in is tremendous well done and thank you”

“We booked Ace Party for our wedding at Peak Edge in August 2024. They were great to deal with and provided crazy golf, carnival games, high striker and a Photo Booth. These activities were fundamental to making the day such a success as our guests were never bored and massively added to the sense of fun. Very hard to imagine a better party equipment rental service is out there as having used them we would now not think of using anybody else.”

“Recently visited for a meal with friends. We didn't stay over on this occasion, but have already planned our next 3 night stay. The food was delicious as always, one friend opted for the pie of the day, declaring it to be " the best pie she had ever eaten" - this echoed the sentiments of my husband on our previous visit. We were able to sit outside in the lovely gardens with our after dinner drinks - a delight not to be missed. “We popped in without a reservation but they managed to accommodate us! Everything we got was delicious and we loved every detail. The garlic bread was my favourite! My husband loved the lasagne, very creamy and cheesy.. The dessert was amazing, unlike any other cheese cake we’d had before!”

“My daughter and I had afternoon tea here yesterday. It was really nice. The food was fresh. Good selection of items for afternoon tea. Beautiful Teashop and lovely staff. The owner was very nice and accommodating. They also do theme nights, which I'm sure we shall be back to join. The menu was great for other occasions. Breakfasts and lunches, or a drink and a snack. The shop itself was decorated lovely, with indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs were also welcome. Set in lovely surroundings in a park. We will definitely go again.”
