“Incredible service. I broke down and managed to get my car into the car park at this hotel. Dylan was working the night shift on reception and was so helpful. He was very helpful in getting me any help needed and when I eventually needed to book a room he got this sorted for me very quickly and even accommodated really well for my dog. Then when checking out in the morning, the lady on reception was also incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially for my dog once again. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being so kind and helpful when I was in a tight spot. The best experience I could have from the loveliest staff.”

“We chose here due to staying at the Alton Towers Hotel, and was worried after some of the reviews, but we honestly had the most delicious food, and our waitress, Amy, was very welcoming and attentive. Our children enjoyed their meals, which is great, as they can be fussy. Highly recommend the lemon and herb chicken - so tasty and so much chicken! My husband had the burger and he really enjoyed it (he mentioned the apple-smoked cheese and said they'd done well with the flavour). Lovely decor in there, and views of the lake (and colourful lights on the lake when dark).”

Perfect location for exploring ilam park and Thorpe Cloud and the Roaches. Also near Haddon Hall Chatsworth House and Bakewell just a short 30 min drive away. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was amazing. I am a celiac and they were more than happy to cater for me. Leek itself is a lovely little market town with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and nice independent shops which was very refreshing. Would definately recommend and would stay again.”
