“Today we were celebrating my sister’s 70th Birthday and what better place to accommodate 19 of us? Some of us had been before but others hadn’t. The ones who’d been before for the Sunday buffet couldn’t wait to come again and the others thought it was ideal. From start to finish the staff were friendly & efficient, the food was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. A really enjoyable way to celebrate a 70th Birthday with family. We will be back.”

“We love this pub..! Friendly welcome including for our dog. It has had a super make over. A proper lovely comfy pub atmosphere, menu is limited but is very reasonable cost wise. Pork pies highly recommended!”

“Cracking local pub with a small, but carefully curated, selection of cask ales. We regularly visit on Thursdays for the quiz night where you’re well looked after and the midweek munch over winter (£8 for a pint and a good bowl of beef stew) is dangerously good! Be aware that there isn’t a regular substantial food offering but if you arrive hungry they’ll sort something out for you!”

“We booked a table for 10 plus infant to celebrate my partners’ 60th birthday. What a fantastic decision that was. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was fantastic and extremely good value. I contacted them in advance and they made a delicious birthday cake to serve at the end of the meal and even put up birthday bunting. Could not recommend this inn more highly!”

“A very well known pub in Winsford , very cosy clean , outside seating with heaters and tv’s always thinking about the customer , the ladies behind the bar very well manner to customers ect ect . “I must say that I wasn't a fan when it was Wellers. Popped in the Crows Nest and it was a great experience. It's comfortable and cosy. Great atmosphere and staff. Decent prices. Will definitely be visiting again.”

“What a beautiful pub, walked in, needed a table for 6, the lady sorted it out even though they had taken a booking for 20 people. Brilliant menu, food looked & tasted fabulous, service was quick. Waiters were so helpful & polite. Definitely would recommend for anyone to eat there.”

“Staying in a hotel in Hanley for work. Had a walk to this place on my own a couple of nights. Good selection of craft beers to choose from, on draft and in chilled cans. There were also cask and draft cider options. When I visited there were 7 craft beers available including pilsner, IPA, sour and stout. Good selection of music on too, punk, grunge rock. Patrons and staff were friendly and welcoming, the venue is has a calm relaxed atmosphere. Come and support this local business!”

“Lovely cafe with great atmosphere, tasty food and coffee expertly brewed and served. Highly recommend it. Leek is a Quainton and beautiful town as well. A group of 6 of us were accommodated for lunch by friendly staff and really enjoyed it!”
