“Always a decent place to visit. Whether you’re eating, drinking l, catching up or just want to explore the old building. Cheap drinks and there is a big selection, hot and cold. Food served here too, good enough for the price. Busier at weekends. Always a good place to start a night out. Surprisingly the toilets are on ground level and not half a mile away.”

“As I was stumbling home rather drunk I suddenly saw the shining light of the Happy Meeting Chinese Takeaway. It is no exaggeration when I say that the meal I received brought me back to the land of the living. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave me a couple of small extras. I will be making this my regular Chinese takeout!”

“Great new bar open in Stafford, went with my wife for the opening night and we enjoyed that much we went back again the following week for lunch on my wife’s birthday. The drinks are reasonably priced and there are some lovely cocktails to choose from. We ate on both visits and the food is of excellent quality, the seasoned fries are to die for, they are special trust me !! All the staff were friendly and very attentive, the service was first class and very efficient. All in all I can’t fault any part of our experiences and would definitely recommend, we will be going back again very soon. 5 out of 5”

“Moved to the area recently and was recommended here for a take away. It was amazing.. we had the food delivered each time and always delivered in time and delivered hot. The food is very tasty and fresh and I can highly recommend the salt and pepper chicken. Have used several times and will be doing so again!”

“I came in with my cousin because the steak here is just so good. It’s stunning and we sat outside under the pergola. The food came quick and looked amazing. My chips were not cooked properly and were solid which was a shame and I did return them but I knew I wasn’t going to eat them anyway as my plate was returned with my steak and salad whilst I waited for fresh chips and I can’t eat in that kind of way lol. Regardless the staff were apologetic and asked if I wanted to complain but I said no as the food has never been bad from here before and the steak was still amazing and the salad hence still giving 5 stars. Drinks are lush too love the range of gin available. 100% recommend”

“What a amazing selection of food!! After ordering our food was brought over to us personally. I like the personal touch.!! After arriving home the food was still hot and taisted spectacular. “We had a birthday party here yesterday for a 2 year old. It was fantastic. Play barn was warm, clean and plenty of frames for kiddies. Tractor ride and feeding animals included. The staff was great, so helpful. Especially wife and husband who took charge. Very helpful. Good price for what was included. We had it all to ourselves too”

“I didn't want to leave my room it was so welcoming and comfy and beautifully decorated, Hannah the owner was so kind and and bent over backwards to help us feel at home. The town it self is very pretty, we enjoyed a walk with our dog through the canals and open forests. And enjoyed the Wednesday market. Thank you Hannah for such a relaxing night away from our busy lives.”

“Went for a bite to eat, food was really good and value for money was better than we expected. Ordered fish and chips, the grazing platter and a kids meal. Ruby and Sue were lovely and attentive throughout our experience and especially with a toddler they made sure we were relaxed and able to also enjoy our meals whilst little madam munched at hers and thoroughly enjoyed it, the finished plates said it all. Would 100% go back and appreciate the service and care from Ruby and Sue.”
