“Such a warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Seated at our table by the chef which was unique, quick and friendly service from our waiter. Food was beautiful. 100% recommend the mushroom and tarragon aranchini ball, personally the duck confit was beautiful although slightly salty and the Belly pork main... what can we say ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great service. We will definitely return and spread the word”

“My wife and I are locals and regular visitors to The Swan at Whiston, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent — proper home-cooked dishes, generous portions, crisp chips, and plenty of fresh vegetables. The service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. It’s great value for money, and they’re always happy to accommodate. Always busy, always enjoyable — what more could you ask for?”

“No parking onsite but there is a car park in the pub next door and a large car park 30 seconds down the road, waited around 5 mins for someone to get our reservation and seat us( this was a Saturday night and busy), after we were seated the service was excellent, lots of drinks to chose from especially whiskey and whiskey flights. The food was too good for words perfectly smoked and seasoned tasted amazing I would highly recommend. Portion sizes were decent too.”

“Our family favourite in Nepalese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. We had the pleasure of dining here recently with friend and we were blown away by the delicious mixed grill and momos we had as starters. This was not our first time dining at this restaurant, and we can confidently say that it has consistently delivered delicious food at a great price. Additionally, there is plenty of space for parking, making it a convenient option for those driving in. The ambiance of the restaurant is clean and functional, with no luxury or frills, but it is welcoming and comfortable nonetheless. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was pleasant.”

“Last minute decision to eat out this evening and fancied a curry. Narvana had been recommended previously by a work colleague. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant was clean and atmospheric, the food was beautiful and fresh with plenty of flavour, not over powered with spices. Portions were bigger than expected, and the naan bread appeared to be homemade which is a rarity. The service was efficient, polite and attentive without being obtrusive. Highly recommended.”

“Excellent pub with 12 real ale pumps. Mainly a vast range of Titanic ales and Everards. Opens spot on 12:00 Sunday. Many came for Sunday lunch. Near main railway station. 7 mins walk.”

“We had our football Christmas meal at the New Inn at the beginning of December, the food was fantastic as always, staff we helpful and friendly, we pre-ordered as there were 15 of us and we weren't disappointed, definitely would recommend the sharing platter, a great evening with delicious food - many thanks ☺️”

“Here for a course for 2 nights just 2 miles away from here, so for me the location was excellent and also quiet for me to relax and study. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food in the pub is excellent, dare I say some of the best pub food I have ever had. Rooms are very comfortable and relaxing with some lovely extra touches. Excellent beer garden and choice of beers. Really impressed and would love to come back.”
