“We stayed here after seeing wynne evans on friday 19th December. After reading previous reviews, we really didn't know what to expect. We were greeted in reception by a pleasant gentleman with a very warm welcome. We took the lift upto our room on the 1st floor. We were room 105. When we entered the room, it was warm and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bed only had one pillow each, but we were provided with another one each after enquiring at reception. Nothing was too much bother. We were located at the back of the hotel, with the window closed it was very quiet, despite a train line being outside the window and an Eden bar and grill nightclub. The following morning we went down for breakfast, there was a limited selection of cereals, either weetabix or corn flakes. There was also toast with a selection of jams and marmalade, along with orange juice or apple juice. There was a hot drinks machine that you could help yourself to various hot drinks. After being out for the day, we went back to the hotel for food. My fiancé and myself had the same food off the menu, we had burger and fries. The burger was a decent size and very tasty, served inside a soft white roll. We had a few drinks from the bar, which had a good selection of alcoholic beverages. We will definitely be back to this hotel again.”

“Just spectacular. This is my favourite campsite I've ever visited. 15 acres of beautiful woodland, pitch a tent where you please. Choosing where to pitch is a lot of fun - we were down by the stream, and it was great to hear the water flowing. There are facilities up at the entrance by the car park, toilets, a warm shower, sink to wash up. But this is a spot primarily to get back to nature a bit. Scavenging your own fire wood is great fun (although you can buy some or bring your own if you wish). Very friendly and helpful owner / manager - Ian even helped me change a flat tyre. Couldn't recommend this place enough!”

“Perfect breakfast spot. The mega breakfast was only for £6!! The food came quick, the place was clean and the man who served me was absolutely hilarious. Honestly, he really made my day and wish more businesses in the community would act like that.”

“Crynant cattery is THE Best! I wouldn't want to leave my cat anywhere else. The cattery is spotless and the cats are extremely well cared for. We can go and visit family in England knowing our cat is receiving the best care possible.”

“Ended up booking this place after the food at the accommodation we were stopping at didn't pass muster. I noticed a few poor reviews, but to be fair it was more the accommodation side of the place that was mentioned; size mostly. It has the vibe of a cafe, but it's a lovely little place. We turned up on steak night, 40 pound a couple with a drink. Turned out to be a real bargain. With two deserts, under 55 pound. Excellent quality and lovely service. One point that others have mentioned is parking. We were lucky, but during a busy day, I guess it could be an issue.”

“Travelling for work and this house is great for us. It’s close to all the local amenities such as supermarkets, gym and places to eat. It’s clean and tidy and has everything we need including on street parking which is always a bonus. The communication with host has been great and they have dealt with any queries straight away. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Booked last minute lunch for four adults and two children ( 12 and 9) . Thoroughly enjoyed, we all had different meals and drinks. The food was plentiful, hot and tasty. Along with that the staff were so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed our lunch and would thoroughly enjoyed recommend.”

“We had a great stay at this campsite. Owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is beautifully tucked away on a hillside with incredible views and sunsets. Lots of space for kids to play ball games and lots of woodland for them to explore. Atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. The eco friendly Facilities were clean, spacious, not smelly and shower was hot. Would definitely return.”

“Dog friendly and very relaxed. The staff were very welcoming, and friendly. There was a great atmosphere within the pub itself, we had a great couple of nights. We would recommend staying here, I can understand it is not everyone’s cup of tea due to the nightlife, but we had a great time. Our room was lean, the shower was amazing, great to ease those aches and pains. Clean and fresh towels and bedding. Although they had a couple of staff not turn in for work, it was not noticeable. We enjoyed our food on both nights and got a good nights sleep on both nights. Thank you for making us feel welcome. We would use again if ever in the area. X”

“The team at Alison George are outstanding. We have been renting properties with them for a few years now and have found them to be by far, the best we have dealt with. The property is always very well looked after and they take the pressure off us as owners/landlords. They treat our house as their own. We would highly recommend them.”

“Great support from Management Team. We got some kitchenwares issue. They came with replacement less than half and hour. Rooms are good size for family of 3. Beds are a bit softfy but it is okay. We surely will come back.”

“Extremely good eating experience at the Spirit n spice with the superb quality of the food and service . This restaurant deserves to succeed as I believe it is a new team that are keen to do well. My wife and I had the Chicken Shashlik and Lamb Kocha and I can honestly say I haven’t had better a better Indian meal. Secondary to the food we found the interior decor certainly added to the overall experience. We will definitely be returning soon and it is one I would want to share with friends.”

“Our dog lexi stayed with mags doggy holidays we took kexi for a visit before hand and my son went with his dad so he would be at ease leaving his beloved dog for ys to go on holidays .lexi had a fantastic time and i was kept upto date with photos of lexi having fun .will certanly use again x”
