“Had AfternoonTea today at the hotel .It was outstanding Really lovely ,nicely laid out Excellent warm scones with jam and cream,fresh variety of sandwiches.,assorted cakes.Excellent service from Emily ,.and the Manager Sheldon made sure we all had a good experience . Would definitely recommend you try it Sheldon,Nelson and staff are trying hard to get the Hotel back to being a vibrant local venue .Think next year will see a lot of good events which will be great ..!!”

“Having recently gone for a Sunday carvery (which was lovely), we decided to booked the Margam Deer for a Saturday night family meal. As on the previous visit, the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The only downside was they had a singer on, halfway through our meal, which we were not expecting. No complaints with her as such, she was good, but the audio system was exceptionally loud. This made conversation impossible, which was unfortunate as we had arranged the night out as a family catchup. But overall, the food and service was excellent. Would definitely return again.”

“me and my sister come here about twice a month i’ve got to say they didn’t used to have the best atmosphere and looks but they have had a huge upgrade there’s more food choices, new workers and more. The workers are amazing they are ever so kind and lovely, me and my sister came here today lovely workers as always, we ordered our food. And they gave us free ice cream!!! they are amazing we were struggling to get out the door as our hands were full and the man came and opended the door for us!! I love this place and this is my go to place always!!”

“Ordered Barbecue ribs, chicken fried rice and sweet & sour sauce. The chicken fried rice was lovely, as was the sweet and sour sauce. The ribs were nice and meaty, hardly any gristle at all, very nice. The only let down was the Barbecue sauce which the ribs came in, it was very watery and had no taste whatsoever. We will probably try this place again, but I think I'll pass on the Barbecue sauce”

“Stopped eating Chinese food for a while because we never found a Chinese takeaway which was nice. Me and my partner ordered from here tonight and we've finally found a Chinese takeaway which is our new go to Chinese. Food was pipping hot on arrival and was delivered on time, lovely food, really good portions. Definitely will be ordering again!”
