“Been using this place for years, tried others, but always ended up coming back. Recently had a takeaway under the new management and was the best yet in my opinion. Always tend to have the same dishes, really like the gung po beef. I'm pretty sure the salt and chili wings recipe has changed, very tasty with more spice. Will continue to use this place.”

“I had a wonderful vegetarian Indian afternoon tea at Uday’s on Dudley Road in Wolverhampton. The decor is classy and modern, with a peaceful ambiance and a beautiful glass waterfall feature that really sets the tone. The afternoon tea was a great mix of Indian street food and classic bites – pav bhaji, veg fingers with chips, samosa, papdi chaat, gol guppe, sandwiches, macarons, gulab jamun, and chilli soya. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and well-presented. The masala chai was a standout – rich, warm, and perfectly spiced. The service was excellent – the whole team was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A special thanks to Binesh, who made sure everything ran smoothly. A lovely experience all around – I’d definitely recommend it!”

“First time eating here for their evening menu and I'm pleasantly surprised. Had a large mixed grill and not only was the food cooked beautifully but the value for money is fantastic. Also, the salt and pepper chips is a must do side dish. 2 for 2 for 5 stars on the breakfast and dinner options.”

“Attended the Chestnut Tree with 11 friends on 10/12/25 for our Christmas meal. We all had the 3 course festive menu. the food was superb as was the service. This is our usual pub so was really pleased that everyone else, who all drove miles to this venue, all agreed the food was amazing and an excellent price.”

“Visited Penn Tandoori for the first time for a friend’s birthday and really enjoyed the new thalis. Portions were small but there was plenty overall, and it was great value at £14.95. The staff gave a good explanation of everything and the service was excellent. They also have a bar. Would definitely return in the future.”

“Just moved into the village and haven't stopped for literally a week so decided to give Aroma a try. We'd had recommendations from a couple of friends and they were certainly great recommendations. I felt a bit guilty having a delivery as we only live 5 mins walk away but as we were both totally cream crackered, not having to drop everything was a bonus! Can't comment on sitting in the restaurant, but I'm sure we will try when we have more time.”

“A lovely little pub on outskirts of Wolverhampton, really nice hearty food, nice pub, car park is a little small. Toilets including disabled, beer garden, great atmosphere and great service. Can get very busy. Food presented very well. Not to expensive for quality of food! Will be back :) great for a family meal”

“Me and my partner called in here on a Saturday night and ate the most beautiful Indian cuisine. It was cooked to perfection and to our taste. We didn't want it too hot and had no problems whatsoever, as the chef listened to our concerns and made it beautiful. I'd never had the bread before called paratha and was pleasantly surprised. “We visited here on a recommendation and glad we did. Service and food were both excellent and good value for money. Don't let the exterior and decor put you off and the ambient music could be improved from UK pop to some more fitting India music. But I would let the food speak for itself. They don't have a licence to sell alcohol so you can if you wish take your own. On our visit on a Saturday early evening we didn't need a booking but as the evening progressed it got busier. With many regular diners and family groups. All in all a very enjoyable meal. Thanks guys.”
