“My wife and I made our first visit to 'The Stump' ( Mount Pleasant) since the 1980's . After a recommendation on Facebook we decided to call in for a late night drink after playing Bridge. The Mount Pleasant is open until 23:00 and serves until 22:45 . We had checked on the Real Ale Finder site that the Mount Pleasant regularly updates and found that they had an interesting Abbeydale Hazelnut and Coffee Stout on. They regularly change 9 of the real ales that they have on offer and a chalk board lists the beers and prices . The Mount Pleasant has a long ( thin) layout with a car park ( also long and thin on its right hand side ) . We accessed the pub via a rear door from the car park . A covered smoking deck is at the back then the single door access ( with a single step) leafs into a corridor that runs the length of the pub with single doorways to enter the front and rear bar rooms . The pub was warm and friendly with a group of people at another table enjoying snack type food . We had a half of the Abbeydale Stout and were pleasantly surprised by the price of only £3.90 for a pint of this 5.2% strength Stout. We enjoyed it so much we squeezed in another half before closing time . The service was friendly and when I mentioned that the last time we visited the Mount Pleasant was in the 1980's the landlady jokingly replied that she was not even born then. It is not surprising that The Mount Pleasant is in the 2025 Camra Good Beer Guide . We both enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Stump as a 'must visit ' if you are in the area .”

“I love this place when I crave my peace and quiet. Beautiful grass, vegetation and birds. I'm an addict, can't go more than a week without visiting. Suitable for both children and adults.”
“We all had a lovely time on the train. Our 2 grandchildren were so excited. Santa was very good and the elf that told us a story. It was well worth the money. Even though it was busy the staff were very nice.”

“You wouldn't know how close you are to the conurbation. Not huge but plenty to explore. Bird life varied and changes regularly with different visitors to the lake. When I visited a Mandarin Duck had taken residence as had a Great Egret”
“First class service from James, Chloe and the team at James Price! I'd taken my 2015 VW Golf GTD to a local garage when the ECS warning light came on recently and they had it for nearly a week. They'd advised me that the fault codes indicated that one of the glow plugs had failed so I said that they should proceed to replace all 4. They eventually advised me after chasing them that the plugs were seized and eventually asked me to collect the car as they didn't have to specialist tools to remove them. They said the fault codes indicated was cleared and that I should take the car to We Buy Anycar and get rid of it that weekend before the code reappeared. The car has always been maintained / serviced at 9000 miles intervals from new and I wasn't satisfied with this. I went to Johnson VW Solihull main dealership where I purchased the car and they advised that they send their cars to James Price Garage.when there are issues such as seized glow plugs. I duly contacted them via email and Chloe quickly responded, providing me with up front pricing and an explanation of what needed to be done. I booked the car in and on the day it was dropped off Chloe kept me appraised of developments. I was advised that the other garage had done some serious damage to the 4 glow plugs, threading 2 of them, taking the head off one with the final one half out. In the end it cost me £1250 to have the glow plugs changed (strip down of the cylinder head), a Terraclean and DPF service. When I drove the car upon completion (it has 125k on the clock) it runs like brand new. I've booked the car at James Price (early November) for a full service, DSG service, Cam belt & water pump replacement and a Stage 1 remap. It'll cost another circa £2k but the car is mint and will hopefully last another 100k miles (fingers crossed) as I use it as my weekly motorway mileage muncher! Chloe looked after me while I waited on the day, there was non-stop Nespresso coffee, I had the opportunity to chat to James while he was doing the work and we had a great chat. Great garage and well worth the trip over from Solihull to Walsall. Thanks all and keep up the good work!”
“Lots of spaces, can pay cash or app at the car or can go into the innovation centre and pay card (check opening hours)”
“Friendly staff, always a few machines free, only issue is, possibly, the parking. Certain times you may end up on the road. Nice quiet gym, I like it...and don't want any of you to come, go somewhere else!”
“Highly rated day out with kids! Fantastic parks and cycle paths for kids. All flat terrain. Ice cream shops readily available. Only note would be to make sure you take change for the car park, as the card reader facility doesn't work.”

“Lovely, modern new salon with the fabulous Neena who has been cutting my hair for over twenty years. It's an hour's drive for me but I won't have anyone else cut my hair, Neena is super friendly and an extremely skilled and experienced hairdresser. Delicious refreshments on offer, massage chairs and a great range of hair products, a very relaxing, pampering experience.”

“Family spent a fun filled day here even though conditions where very windy. ( To the point we were given the choice to come back another time at no extra cost). Fun experience being key. Steve and team were absolutely fantastic. Other members created an atmosphere that was friendly and welcoming. Educational, safe and fun. Already signed up as members. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great experience to Steve and the team.”
“The shed is the best place for coffee although the sausage sandwich is very good at the Station Cafe.A nice quiet place ideal for a walk with good views excellent local venue.Brilliant in fact.”
“My children visit here every Saturday without fail to enjoy an hour at there amazing roller disco. They go there without us parents cramping there style and we have full confidence they are safe and looked after. My oldest child is 13 and younger is 9, they meet up with friends and have made many friends there too. They both love the experience and say how lovely the staff are and the people attending there too. They have no problem requesting music from the DJ who always complies. The place is very clean and cheap for the service they are providing. They do lots more than roller disco there but this is all i can really comment on. Would highly recommend”
“Been a member of the gym here for the past 3 months. Love it. Friendly staff. Gym is always clean and tidy and always manage to get a parking spot”
“The park is nice and beautiful. It has lots of playing activities like football fields, basketball, children playing ground, etc. There is Morden children playing area under construction which will open very soon after construction. Lots of gym, sports and exercise apparatus there. Lots of people were coming there to exercise including running and cycling. The very well known pool has now converted into Morden children playground which was still under construction. The place is quiet and cool, nice for quiet time and relaxations. I enjoy visiting there with my family. Recommended.”
