“Aberdeen institution. Great working man's bar during the day. Live music at the weekend, and probably a slightly younger crowd. Lovely staff, and good atmosphere. No nearby parking though. Recommended”

“First time in last Sunday afternoon, karaoke was just finishing but still got a song up, decent sound system and will pop in earlier this Sunday for a few songs”

“Food was lovely, we had a great time. Only confusion was online Christmas menu said 1 bottle of house wine per 4 people with meal, if booked in advance but when speaking to waitress wine was not being offered .We did get a bottle of wine. ( maybe you need to update menu online)”

“Really hard to find fault in an honest, good value and hearty Sunday carvery. Delicious food, warm atmosphere and very child friendly. Play are is also fantastic for the kids. Had a little issue with the soft drink machine but was sorted promptly by staff so no complaints. Will definitely make it a regular trip when driving through Aberdeen.”

“Brilliant local pub full of character with really friendly staff. Not from the area but made to feel really welcome by the staff and the locals. Two TVs that have sports on a couple of dart boards and a pool table. Got decent music playing from the Duke box. Will definitely be back as cheap for the drinks”

“Had my Charity Dinner on 30th June, 2018. The events manager Nicole was lovely & very helpful. Food was a bit delayed( took a while to bring main meal after starter) but the food was beautiful. Loved the room setting. Loved everything provided including our welcome bubbly. You definitely know how to host a party Nicola. Everything was in place. The rooms upstairs were very clean too. I encountered one rude patron outside later in the man. one that did not know how to take a joke nor smile. But one person can not spoil the beautiful work/effort made to give us a wonderful night. I will use the venue always.”

“Just been here with my children and parents. The restaurant area was clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The food was tasty. The chefs were friendly and polite also. The kids menu had good choice and both my kids ate it all and loved the ice cream machine with the sprinkles. Thank you for a lovely Sunday carvery”

“Great atmosphere, a mix of yonger and older patrons, all friendly and respectful, good selection of beer at a reasonable price. Staff are helpful and friendly, the lovely Laura at at bar was kind, polite and great at her job. The waiter was also very good, finding my table, after changing my sitting arangement, without me having to do anything. I would definitely recommend this pub if you are ever in the area.”

“This place is really amazing it's a bar in an old church with stunning glass windows. Seating area outside with heaters. We stopped for a cocktail my husband had a Bloody Mary I had an Aperol Spritz. Both cocktails were lovely staff were great. We sat outside and it was a lovely spot to watch the world go by. Would definitely go back. Has clean toilets.”

“As with Club Tropicana which is in the same building and you get access to both clubs, I had a blast in here. The music was totally party and cheese, every hit I remember as a teenager, with no fluff. Drinks recently priced, was one girl who worked there who was like laughing at my attempts to ask with a Scottish accent so someone could understand my drinks order. I felt like Renee in Allo Allo, "I say paaaal, Al see this anly wance, I'll have a wheeskay an cooola wee lassy" but was a banging night, and fun.”
