“very convenient location next to the train station. large clean rooms, standard business hotel. food and bar open long hours. free decent WiFi. good for business travel. staff a bit unhelpful and moody, and no plugs next to the bed . rooms had bad lighting if you're working at night . would stay again since it's reliable and standard business style hotel”
“We had a lovely stay in these hotel. The room was clean and cozy. The staff in reception were very friendly and plesant. Marvin Paule, one of the staff was very kind and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, all the staff in the breakfast area are very helpful and friendly. the foods are excellent. The location of the Hotel is easy accessible to the public transport, restaurants and pubs. I will definitely come back. Highly recommended.”
“Right beside a wonderful wine bar. Outside the centre but that's what I wanted. Quiet but easy to get into town. Kitchen fully equipped but the Aberdeen restaurants were so good I didn't cook at all. TV with terrestrial channels. Very clean and comfortable. All great. Definitely recommend.”
“Helpful friendly staff, perfect for visit to Aberdeen. Just a short drive away. Sat nav got very confused getting there, but got there in the end. Would be helpful to recommend people look for lidls sign.”
“Fun friendly atmosphere, busy restaurant but not slow service, made a fuss of our birthday child and it was great. Hot fresh tasty food”
“Stayed here with work and the house is perfect for a small group. Location is close to supermarkets and smaller shops, plus a pub. House is spacious, clean and modern.”
“We stayed in Hutcheon street, 2 bedroom apartment. Very nice, clean and spacious place. 17 mins walk from the local beach, loads of shops near by. Very friendly service. Highly recommended!”
“I am halfway through my 2nd week in the last month here and I cannot rate the Pamdor highly enough, I love this place it’s like a home from home now and I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m working in Aberdeen. I have read the negative/neautral reviews but these need to dismissed as people need to realise what they are getting here it’s a beautiful wee bed and breakfast with smart tidy rooms cleaned daily by a wonderful host in Sinead.”
“Excellent accommodation and service. The only improvement needed is the low shower pressure on the second floor.”
“Good place to stay if you want Aberdeen City on your doorstep. The only down side is there is no parking on site. There is a close multi storey car park that charge £10 per 24 hours within walking distance.”
“The food we ordered a large chicken kebab and a large donner kebab both were 100% bang on the money, salad came in its own container and again was fresh really tasty and complimented the kebabs perfectly. Service was 1st class as well, will certainly be our 1st stop for a kebab from now on! Compliments to the owner and staff......”
“My first time visiting here, I've always wanted to try a sushi belt type restaurant. I was definitely not disappointed. They've got a separate menu as well as the belt. I chose to eat from the belt as I liked the fact I can see what it is before I pick it up or not. The quality of food was phenomenal. Would definitely be returning again in the future.”
“Great place! We dined in here tonight after the first two Chinese we went to were closed. So it was our third choice but now it's our first! It doesn't look great from the outside but the food was amazing, everything we ordered was perfect. The staff were also really friendly. Highly recommended.”
“Very super apartment. Our host was vety kind. Supet clean, comfortable, equipped with everyting. Close to everything, very good location. We received champagne, milk, bread, eggs, butter, and christmas cakes. Next time we come here again!”
“This hotel is in an excellent central location, particularly if you are taking a ferry or train. It's in walking distance of a number of restaurants, pubs, and attractions. The building and decor are somewhat old-fashioned, but the hotel is clean and quite comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available. Our room was quite spacious and well-appointed with a kettle, tea, coffee, cocoa, snacks, and cold water in the mini-fridge. The bed was comfortable, and linens and towels were of good quality. The shower was excellent, spacious and good water pressure. My only complaint was our bathroom's odd layout, with the toilet and sink up a step from the main floor. Hazardous in the dark when you're sleepy! Wifi was acceptable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
“Highly recommend the Jumbo Fish Supper, King Rib and the new White Puddings. Everything is cooked to order and fresh”
“My daughter left her school jacket on the bus. They replied to my email promptly and I picked it up from the depot from a really lovely lady. (Good Idea to put your kids names on clothes they might leave lying on the bus)”
“This is a great car park, very close to town and the Christmas village. Its not for bad drivers with no spacial awareness but it does fits the giant Tesla cars and range rover so its not as tight as people are saying. Yes its an older car park so it is narrow and tighter but as I said if you can drive well this shouldn't be an issue.”
“If I could give 6 stars I would! We organized a whisky bus tour for a large group in addition to an on-site tasting. Everyone in the shop and the owner were absolutely wonderful from organizing all the plans to the tours, visiting the shop, and the tasting. He even was kind enough to let us in the shop on off hours so we could bring some extra bottles home! Could not recommend more.”
“Went during a week long trip to Aberdeen. Having been to quite a few escape rooms, this is definitely one of the better ones. We enjoyed it so much, we booked a different game for later in the week.”
“Great cafe. Just had brunch. Alesya was fantastic at her service to the table. Chef Rahson was very kind to come and check on the table as to how we were getting on. Overall a very sweet, welcoming smiling beautiful happy bunch managing the place which is the most inviting about this place. We had a vegetarian breakfast and a Menemen breakfast! Absolutely delicious! Do try it out if you want something different from the usual breakfast! I’ll be back for trying more of their dishes soon! 2nd visit: today we went for another breakfast. Aleysa is absolutely brilliant! She made a chai latte for me which was highly appreciated! Chef took the trouble to speak to us which is a nice touch and makes very valued as a customer!Nothing more to comment about food except that it is exceptional ; I tried the mushroom omelette this time which was delicious! I’d highly recommend everyone to try their Turkish breakfasts which are absolutely brilliant! Hats off to the chef ! The team is extremely inviting, warm and that makes a huge difference!❤️. We will be back again!”
“Delighted with the communication, service, quality and value at Mains. Graeme was First-Class at getting me sorted out with a Kilt at short notice, coming down from Shetland a couple of days before a wedding. I felt he took the time to provide an excellent service, and I couldn't have been happier with the outfit on the day. Returning the kilt to the shop David who I hadn't dealt with was just as friendly and welcoming as Graeme despite being busy, he took the time to acknowledge me and ask how the event was and just the atmosphere in the shop between the two gents is awesome. They deserve business. Definitely going to be a repeat customer for the foreseeable. I would highly recommend Mains Highland for kilt hire.”
“What an amazing castle! Definitely worth the visit. The views are stunning and a great day out. You can walk on opposite hills and get great views of the castle and surrounding monuments. There are a lot of steps to get to the castle, but there are rails and enough passing places when busy. There are no dustbins in the castle, so you need to take your goodies back with you. I would recommend taking some food with, as the gardens are so peaceful, its a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the peace. One of my top 10 castles in Scotland!”
“We visited late in the year last year and although the walk was stunning with the dramatic coastal views we were keen to return to see some puffins. Returned again in June and today we saw around 10 puffins among the other sea birds. A really beautiful walk.”
“A brief visit to Stonehaven and trying to make the most of it, we booked Dash Cabs via WhatsApp to take us to the train station (only a mile away, but uphill – so a cab made perfect sense!). Plans changed thanks to Storm Amy, but Dash Cabs couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everything was rearranged with no fuss, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. A big thank you – friendly, reliable, and another Stonehaven treasure!”
“A must visit place if you like conservatories and flora fauna varieties. Very well kept and maintained place with great number of plant species. I was amazed to see the quality of the plants in a cold climate like Scotland has. Beautiful flowers and some really oddball plants and trees. Someone has seriously put aome good thought into it and the staff seems to maintain it well too. No entry fee, but it’s run on donations. Takes about an hour to get through it. Will surely visit again!”

“Super delicious and welcoming place to stop for a quick lunch. Grilled sandwiches might be some of the best in Scotland, staff were kind and service was impeccable. 10/10 all around.”
