“First visit. We were looking for somewhere for desserts and that's what we found. Service was really pleasant. Food was great. Atmosphere was good but the music was a little loud but they changed the song and turned it down when we asked. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.”
“Lovely local bar with friendly clientele”
“Shaun is awesome. He welcomes the he customers so warm that you don’t want to leave the shop. Throughout the time I was waiting for my footlongs to get ready, he talked with my 8 year old daughter about the food, how he make sandwiches and many other things and my daughter and of course myself enjoyed the talk. The footlongs are delicious and I recommend it to everyone visiting this branch.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Decent prices. All in all for a corner shop it's worth popping in.”
“Great for a night out and Great for a few drinks before going to the Teca”
“A soup and sandwich, plus a baked potato and two very hot coffees. The coffee house is a lovely wee cafe in a corner of the main street of Montrose. It looks dark from the outside, but it's the opposite when you're inside. Very historical with the old walls. The staff were very nice and cheerful and the food was very fresh. The sweet potato and coconut soup was different and delicious.”
“Didn't have a room. Attended a function in the attached building. Strange set up being cash only for drinks. Bar was limited. Staff still learning ropes, but friendly enough. Food served looked very good although didn't have any as wasn't hungry.”
“Very good place to relax and detox your mind. I like the fact that it is well taken care of - neat and tidy. A very good place to go to on days off work to enjoy the sunny weather.”
“Our first visit after moving to area, it will be our regular restaurant! Food was lovey!”
“Had a great stay here on our way back from Scotland. Rooms were large, clean and just outside the city centre so the traffic was light and quiet.”
“Stopped by Cloggys for lunch before heading to Aberdeen airport, it is an absolute gem of a spot! The menu is expansive- there is something for everyone, the staff are all unbelievably friendly, and the owners Jash and Alex certainly make you feel at home! I had a rather large lunch (the burger and the mac n cheese are excellent on their own), but being greedy I decided to combine the two! 10/10 would recommend. Lucky to those who work in the area and can be a regular at Cloggys, to all others just 'passing through' I definitely recommend coming by to fill your boots!”
“Forgot to take our pram to Aberdeen. Click and collect order, pram was ready in minutes and the assembled it for us. Great range of toys, our 2 year old loved it. Great service and very happy with products.”
“Bar staff are friendly, regulars are lovely. Been drinking here for many years and always a great bar. Highly recommend.”
“Amazing bar. Was only 2 old regulars in when I got there. Made me feel like a local. Cheers guys.”
“On flight path but that's to be expected being so close to the airport! Met a colleague here for food only, service was great and food was decent portions and well presented”
“Overall a recommended play to stay if you are traveling, working or exoring Aberdeen on your own. Warm, comfy rooms and clean bathrooms with good water pressure. Very short walk from the train station and union square.”
“First class traditional Aberdonian pub owned and run by Viki Lumsden . Every month pubs like this one close due to lack of patronage. Get down there and Chuck some darts. Reasonably priced and central location make it a good start for a night out in Aberdeen.”
“Love this place , I'm so happy they manage to reopen it. Healthy food that will keep u full at a decent price. My to go option when I can not be bothered to cook but I want something tasty that won't ruin my stomach and my pocket.”
“This is the first time we have been to Vovem since their re-opening recently. Their team is solid, from host to bar to service, we had a wonderful experience. Servers are knowledgeable and well-spoken. We were sat near the kitchen which was nice to observe, but perhaps a little loud due to traffic of servers walking by, that did not affect the experience. Food was good and well-priced.”
“I had a nice catch up with a friend at Cafe Society, during a busy lunchtime period. The food was lovely and service was good. It was a tidy cafe. I had to sit next to my friend instead of opposite him, as the seats are quite far apart and it’s hard to hear when there is a lot of people - but that’s what happens when it’s busy! It wouldn’t be affordable to come here every lunch - as a tea and a burrito came to just shy of £10. Although hopefully I can be back again soon.”
“Lovely place to watch football with beer. Very kind staffs and a number of large screens. There are pool table, darts, and some playing machines. One thing you might need to keep in your mind - the kitchen’s last order for foods is 7:45pm, so be there earlier than that if you would like to bite some chips.”
“Great afternoon lunch! Food was fabulous & the customer service was exceptional! Nothing was a trouble & big shout out to Sarah who made sure our experience was 1st class! My friend booked again for a family meal & I’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend ⭐️”
“The place is huge and provides the closest match to true Indian food, I've had in Aberdeen. Wonderful staff and an awesome ambience. Love the food.”
“Loved the experience of eating food from a double decker bus!.. the peppermint cake was AMAZING. I have never had anything like that before.”
“It's a nice city centre pub, down the stairs from Union Street on The Green. It's normally pretty lively there. There's a really good function room upstairs with a bar which is great for birthday parties. There was a male stripper there last night for a hen party who were using the function room - always a good laugh!”
“Bartender was very nice and helpful. Made great food recommendations. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. Very accommodating to my service animal.”
“Booked cocktail making at Paramount and Murray was amazing, a good laugh and made the night great. Highly recommend!”
“Great local store, the bakery section should be bigger”
