“Excellent place. Dog friendly ... The menu is quite large and good. Lots of attractive options. I would say prices are above average, but I think it is really worth it. The backyard is fantastic for sunny days. We'll definitely go again!”
“The original order had unfortunately arrived cold and the driver had forgotten the drinks, however after speaking with the shop the guy on the phone personally delivered a new one that was perfect. Great food and great customer service from him!”
“We have been buying our Indian takeaways from Green Chilli for 20years. We occasionally try other restaurants but always return to Green Chilli. Consistently the best.”
“Had our first meal here tonight and the food was amazing. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended”
“Christmas chip & burrito where 20/10 Price matches quality of the food”
“This the second time visiting the Stables for lunch, and if it wasn't so far from Crossgar, I would be there a lot more. From the warm welcome, to the farewell it was a lovely experience. Beautiful setting with views to the sea and and staff who are well trained with genuine friendliness, Menu is extensive with all the favourites and a daily special menu to boot. Restaurant has an air of detail to cleanliness and customer comfort. Our order was taken quickly and served in good time and tasted freshly made with care. Triple cooked chips were a delight. Well done Stables and hope to be able to visit to try the evening experience. Thanks again, Colin, Crossgar,”
“Lovely pub which pours a great pint of Guinness The best part is the staff. Very nice and friendly. It is also dog friendly up to like 9pm. Before then. On the weekend it does get nosier for the dog though.”
“Lovely little bar in Bangor. Parking is a tad difficult but a side street does the job and no need for a parking ticket either. Food was excellent and was brought out quickly. Service initially was a tad slow but not enough to hinder the experience. The area we were in for food was quiet enough but definitely seemed like a lot of life in the next room (maybe the main bar area?) Anywho, would highly recommend for a feed. We got 2 courses for £19 each on a Saturday night and was very happy with that. Fish was absolutely fantastic and a great homemade curry to go along with it. Salt and chilli beef to start was great too, not chewy at all and full of flavour. Would highly recommend”
“Had a cooked breakfast and can safely say it was the best I’ve ever had. The food was cooked to perfection, didn’t have long to wait, was asked what way I wanted my eggs done and all the food was freshly made. The meat products were locally produced and the potato bread and soda bread was homemade. There were a varied selection of homemade scones, cakes, pastries on display and only I couldn’t eat another bite I would have loved to try them. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Bangor. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was good value for money. The establishment was clean, tidy and bright and airy. I recommend the Olive Tree Artisan Cafe as a must to everyone.”
“We ordered a range of food and all enjoyed it. Generous servings, very tasty and great service.”
“This. This is the one. Best Starbucks in Bangor hands down. Only store that consistently actually reads your order/sticker FULLY and adears to it!! Will be sticking to this store from now on!”
“Best Cod Supper in Bangor. Crispy batter, good portion and delicious chips. Highly recommend.”
“Popped in for the first time yesterday. Will definitely be back! Had the large fry (was able to exchange the things I didn’t like) and the food was excellent! Far better than many ‘restaurants’ that charge extortionate prices for the same quality of food. Lovely service. Will definitely return!”
“Very nice, came in, got my food, went home, no lollygagging, truly an amazing place, would recommend to others”
“Penang Curry was OK, taste was good only let down by the tough beef. Sweet & Sour chicken was excellent as was the real chips. There was 25% off for cash and a £3.50 corkage for BYO which made the whole experience affordable and enjoyable. Sort the beef out and this place would be unbeatable.”
“Really tasty and good pizza, staff were super nice too. Will definitely be back to try other foods, thanks for the great service!”
“Excellent service, most impressed. Live in a new development but the delivery driver was able to find us no problem. The food was warm, and unlike other pizza places, it didn't feel like you were downing a spoonful of grease with every slice. Fantastic pizza and great sides too.”
“Lovely food, great service, Helen the owner is lovely and very friendly, highly recommend this wee place”
“While staying at the Culloden we sat up in the drawing rooms several nights for drinks and fireside chats. Beautiful rooms, all the staff were helpful and quick. I guess I didn't take as many pictures as I thought but we really liked the different gins from Jawbox.”
“Great visit to Tesco Cafe in Bangor today. Very helpful staff & the food & coffee were excellent”
“Very reasonable pricing for excellent quality food. Had a lovely home made mushroom soup which was freshly prepared with lovely home made Irish soda bread to go with it. Then had a very reasonably priced tea with proper cup and teapot plus a lovely rocky road cake; with a fabulous honeycomb crunch. All that cost less than £10. Toilets were very modern and clean too! Don’t be put off by the interior plus off peak and on school days the cafe and venue is generally mostly childless so can be quiet peaceful.”
“Enjoyed another wonderful meal at Vespers. Shay the Restaurant Manager greeted us and showed us to our favourite table. The menu contained some familiar elements and some new dishes we hadn’t tried before. For starters I had scallop chowder but not a traditional one. The chef had elevated it to a sophisticated dish with perfectly cooked scallops in a delicate bisque-like sauce with peas and herb oil accompanied by a home made brioche roll. My husband had the langoustini raviolo. Very tasty also. We both thoroughly enjoyed the fish of the day dish - beautifully cooked hake with cauliflower purée and florets and little pieces of kale. The sides of carrots, broccoli and triple cooked chips were perfect with it. My husband had the light, tasty peach dessert while I went for the cheeses. Homemade crackers, apple chutney and whisky soaked raisins were such a great accompaniment. We really enjoyed our meal and attentive service from the two knowledgeable waitresses. For the quality of food the price was very reasonable. Portion sizes were perfect for us. We will definitely be back. Thank you Shay and team.”
