“We held our son’s first birthday party in the main hall here last month. I could not have asked for a better venue! The hall was a great size. The staff organising, & on duty during the day, were fantastic. All very accommodating to our specific requirements & our caterers too. There is ample parking around back which is very useful. I would highly recommend The Shirley Centre & I would definitely use the venue again.”

“Perfect little outing for the family and friends and the littleuns absolutely loved it. Lots of rides for the kids to jump between, with also mini golf, trampolines and bouncy castle and slide. Also a big free playground to continue or start the party - make sure you take lots of change”

“A group of us are the bingo girls, we spend our winnings on trip's out. Advised by family, has they knew the singer Corrine, had a brilliant night out with ABBA songs. Fish and chips included in price. Really enjoyed the boat trip celebrating birthday's for two of us. Taxi there and back, had a good drink, dancing and laughing. Had a good laugh with the other quest's on board and the boat staff!. Definitely recommend a good night out. The only thing we all think the canal could do with a good clean up, smelly at times! But we made sure that didn't upset our special night out.”

“Three of us had a long walk around Kinver today and had a great lunch in this friendly cafe. My husband and friend had burgers which they said were moist and thick. Also the chips were crunchy. I had carrot and coriander soup. It was hearty, thick, tasty and a swirl of cream. The staff are all volunteers and the food is very good. Unfortunately it is open only at weekends but we will return.”

They are all so friendly & helpful and really progressive with special educational needs of my child also which I appreciate, their attention to detail i really cannot fault & also gave me some amazing advice to take home also with implementing steps for growth and progression with my child. “Visited the store today with my husband to buy a white shirt for a wedding which is Friday.we was approached by a lovely young lady who was so helpful trying to find us the right size checking every shirt possible and offering advice to try and get us what we needed.she was so professional and patient till eventually found him the right shirt,she made our shopping experience easy and less stressful,she is an asset to the store and especially as she was very young.her name was Elysia. “This is a lovely clean venue and available for hire. Their regular (through the winter) table top sales are among the best in the area, and are to be highly recommended. The advertising for these sales is a bit hit and miss so you may have to search them out ("Layca Centre Table Top Sales") through Facebook and other social media. Come along and grab a bargain. “All ages can find they perfect place to play. Nice and clean. In the trampoline park they really follow the rules ! I really like the qr code on the table to order your food. Food is good and tasty. Friendly staff Highly recommended!”

“Our visit, 2 adults and 4 children - 6 year old, 5 year old, 3 year old and a baby, was excellent. Staff were friendly, the place was very clean, including the toilets and the children had a lovely time. Plenty to do and plenty of room. I had read several on line reviews and had I have been swayed by them I wouldn’t have gone because they were mostly negative. We didn’t eat there so couldn’t comment on the food. We will definitely go again. Thank you”
