“Thought I’d give it a try after going there after going something like 20 years ago. I thought I’d made a mistake until the food came and I demolished it. I had full English breakfast with coffee. 5 star and thoroughly enjoyed it. And best of all was the price. I mentioned when I left that it was fantastic and very cheap. Thanks girls. No doubt I’ll see you again.”

Walked in to a happy smile from Jay and ordered the big breakfast (after I was shown the options and allowed to swap an item) Asked to take a seat and had a big old mug of coffee(not one of them pathetic timble size cups)brought to me . Next came the perfectly cook breakfast. it had good ingredients and was hot. Each table has some sort of reading material on it and the radio quietly playing in background. “Used the village kitchen for catering on a big event and the food was amazing, the delivery for the event was on time and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend the catering and Charlie’s chicken, I couldn’t believe how good the chicken is! Overall both village kitchen and Charlie’s chicken serve incredible food and service!”

“I still remember coming to this little place when it first opened many moons ago. The people were as lovely as I remember them to be and the food was spot on. The schnitzel was perfectly done and the chips were golden and crispy. The bratwurst roll was also amazing and a perfect afternoon snack. “We haven't been here for quite some time but were SO pleased that there has been no decline in food, quality or service! Afternoon Tea is a real favourite of ours and we were not disappointed! Had a lovely selection of finger sandwiches, had to box some up so we had room for cake(s). The cakes can make or break an afternoon, we are cake based lifeforms, and my goodness we weren't disappointed. The most delicious huge piece of Pistachio & Rose Sponge, a huge Scone/Cream/Jam and a generous squidgy Chocolate Brownie. My husband managed Sponge & Scone but I was defeated at Sponge, a lightweight. Giving us another box to take home to enjoy at teatime tomorrow. Couldn't have chosen a nicer place to celebrate our anniversary and my first day out since surgery. Left feeling comfortably stuffed and in agreement we will be back much sooner next time.”

“Went for a spot of lunch and had some pancakes alongside a toastie. The waitress that served us was very polite and professional and our order arrived swiftly. The food was delicious and fresh. The hot chocolate was also hot and did not taste artificial like some places.”

“Went in with my son yesterday for lunch. I do really like this cafe. The service is always excellent. Warm welcome and very friendly staff. Cafe and toilet always very clean. Not a cafe you walk out smelling of grease either. Food always well presented, served hot and excellent selection. I had egg and mushroom sandwich, delicious and son had child's nugget meal. Homemade chips that I had to pinch one off his plate. Whether on your own or with company this is a lovely place to visit for a bite to eat or drink and cake. They have one in Boldmere too which I've tried for take out.”

“OMLETTES ARE HERE !!!! Low carb friendly x A real gem tucked away from everywhere, lots of car parking and lots of ventilation. It's getting rarer and rarer to find omlettes and thankfully they're here. It's carnivore/low carb friendly here and tasty.”

“Everything you want in a cafe but more than you'd expect from a portable container. Plenty of seats inside and parking on the road outside. Wide selection to eat in and plenty to fill the lunch box too.”

“Had this cafe delivery via Uber eats. The food was really nice and not greasy. I would recommend you to try the food here. We love that the wet items (beans and tomato) are in separate cups. Would be nice to have option to remove items from breakfast e.g egg but I'm sure that if you put it in the comments they would do it.”

“I had two large lasagnes to takeaway to serve 20 people today at a family party.The owner was very helpful and opened the shop Sunday morning for me to collect the food. The food was excellent ,it was very tasty , moist and cheesy and everyone at the party commented and asked where I had purchased it from.I would definitely recommend the Deli and am using them again before Christmas for another event and ordering lasagne again , a big hit to be repeated!”
