“This was our first visit, and we will definitely coming back. The restaurant itself, is superb, clean, with a lovely easy and atmospheric feeling. All the staff were polite, very happy and good to chat with. We never felt rushed, just left to enjoy our food and time. “We popped in of an afternoon on a sunday for a cob and a pint! Atmosphere great and lovely people! Just to note cobs are cash only so we had to rummage around the car for change! Great local! Also great with kids i have a 4 year old and a 4 month old and couple of the locals ended up giving my eldest a £1 for the sweet machine as we had used all our change for cobs!! Very sweet and lovely people! 1000% recommended!”

“Went today with my dad and brother and we all agreed it was the best Japanese ramen we have had in a long time. Very authentic Japanese broth and nice firm noodles. The crispy chicken side was so juicy with a crisp coating, a must try! I had a Hokkaido style butter and corn ramen and it was incredible. The broth was creamy and savoury and the melting butter added such a nice flavour. The service was brilliant too, friendly staff who explain the menu and ordering procedure with a smile really adds to the experience and to top it all off the price was amazing. 15 quid for a ramen, side and drink!! We will be back!!”

“Found this place whilst at the nearby NT Baddesley Clinton and wanting some lunch with the family. The setting sounded nice but the canal. It didn’t fail to I pressure. Very dog friendly too which was nice to see (although we hadn’t got our dogs with us at the time). Met at the door by friendly staff and shown to table. Although the pub was fairly busy they accommodated us fine. The food was was brilliant (off the lighter bites menu) It’s a beautiful setting and felt a nicely run pub. The gardens are lovely too. There are a number of sheds you can sit in to with dog beds. A good find. Reasonably priced too. Classy and casual interior. Suited us all just fine. Well done Tom O’ The Wood.”

“Best restaurant experience I’ve had in Birmingham. Warm welcome into restaurant, helpful recommendations of food. The tea is beautiful, we ended up ordering two pots. Starters all so full of flavour, food came quickly. Mains really generous portions and meat cooked so well! You can see the team making all the food fresh. Service so friendly. And they made me feel so comfortable bringing my newborn in, even held him so I could eat. Made us feel right at home the whole time. Will be returning again and again.”

“Went to an 80's night recently , first time we've been to Brierley Hill civic hall. It was absolutely brilliant. Big dancefloor, great crowd of people, staff all friendly and helpful, and toilets absolutely spotless - unlike some other places we've visited that made you want to wipe your feet on the way out. They had an really good live band and a disco afterwards, we we're dancing all night. Looking forward to going again!”

“We’ve been here several times now when we visit family in Dudley and it has become a ‘must’ when we visit now. The food is superb and the staff are excellent. We haven’t had a bad meal here and always leave saying how much we enjoyed it, so much so I have actually decided to leave review on here. Highly recommended, if you are in the area give it a try you won’t regret it but it would be wise to book as it is always busy. Our latest visit was a Sunday evening and it was even busy then.”

“We booked a baby Bentley for my sons end of year party and the car arrived on time the car was beautiful and clean inside and out, all the kids enjoyed it and would highly recommend, the driver was very professional. “Great owner, usually good supply of items but my God - do u get followed around by their worker. Soon as u pick an item to buy it, as he was already watching you - he comes out the back with exact item sticking it before you had time to properly turn around and walk away. Admire his work commitment but creepy AF. Small sized shop, offers lottery, scratch cards, bus passes, pay point, cigarettes, alcohol and vape stuff. Few fresh veggies and fruit, sandwiches and buns. Small ATM inside that charges 99p currently to withdraw (as of Jan 2021). Parking outside but spaces are minimal due to access, temp traffic lights and double yellows. It’s also on a one way road so plan properly if driving. Directly next to a Royal Mail sorting office so they do tend to take those few spaces depending on the time of day. On the other side is a chippy and a grocery store. Prices are ok, nothing steep. Used to be open till 10pm but I think it’s 9pm since lockdown. Please check.”

“Very well looked after! We booked Seamless Chauffeur to take us home after an overnight transatlantic flight from New York. Paul was punctual and met us as agreed. He was very courteous and assisted us with our luggage. The journey from Manchester Airport to Birmingham in the Mercedes Vito was really comfortable with plenty of legroom and Paul was very good company. It rounded off an extremely enjoyable trip in style and I would not hesitate to book with Seamless again in the future.”
