“We came here to have a Valentines lunch. We were greeted warmly by staff. We hadn't booked ahead of time, but Bettie our server accommodated Us very quickly. I had the beers Battered Black Pudding, with salad and Sweet Chilli Sauce. Followed by the Black and Blue Burger, with homemade Slaw and chunky chips. My partner had Breaded Mushrooms with Garlic Mayo, followed by Lambs Liver and Bacon, with Peas and Pea shoots. The food was cooked beautifully and all the staff were friendly and chatty. We'll be coming back to try something else from the menu.”

“A great place to visit for drinks and food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. On this particular occasion we went for Sunday lunch, the portion sizes are very generous and well presented. The only disappointing thing was the roast potatoes. Normally they have been excellent, but on this occasion, we found them to be a little bit dry. Fortunately this didn't determine from the rest of the meal which was very good.”

“We had a lovely time this afternoon. Seated promptly and attended immediately, even though it was very busy. We were looked after by the very capable and pleasant, Bella. She couldn't do enough for us, and made our dining experience a very pleasant one. The food was excellent, although we needed a doggy box, for my wife's plentiful, tri roast dinner. We spent post dinner in the beer garden, which is abundant and well set out. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.”

“Had a lovely long awaited catch up with friends today we all agree that Desco has a lovely friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I had the tapas board and it was lovely the patatas bravos especially good. Staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble which is a 10/10.”

“Very impressive restaurant. We love our food from the east but this has recently taken it to another level. I went for a friends birthday party and all I can say is if you want to impress someone with a look of a place this is where you need to be. The food was incredible I think this is probably as authentic as you will get, everything is fresh and the vast range of starters and main courses were amazing. The food was fresh delicious and the waiters were incredible. They explained what the dishes were they were very thorough with relation to allergies as a friend was allergic to a few items however the Restaraunt was fantastic. Starters came out on time hot delicious and enough to feed a group of hungry ladies! The mains were incredible I have to admit the best I’ve tasted. Parking was ok as you can park in the centre car park which is joined with tesco this was ideal as straight after the meal I got to buy a few baby essentials which was very convenient. Overall I can’t believe the amazing work of however designed this place and thought the colours and atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend.”

“Dave and the team helped me organise my 40th party at Oktogon on a Saturday evening, it worked really well. It’s a lovely venue; trendy and relaxed, the service was excellent - the team are so friendly. Pizza’s were very tasty. Would definitely recommend!”

“Booked in for one night as its really convenient when visiting the NEC. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a very cold day but the bar was warm with a lovely log fire. Our room was super, the bed was comfy and there was a good selection of tea and coffee. We had a super vegetarian breakfast with lots of tea and coffee. Unfortunately we left something in the room at checkout, but Dom the manager arranged to get it back to us at their cost. Brilliant service. Looking forward to another visit.”

“We come here regularly and we have never been disappointed. The food comes out hot, staff is always at best behaviour and even if you don’t have a reservation they always get you a space. Love their chicken burgers and pretty much everything else from the menu.”

“Just been in pub bar lady was with a man that seem stressed and confused spent 1 hr trying to find out where he was from. Found out and found was from a care home. Phoned them up and found he had absconded earlier today. She put him in taxi and told driver not to take money till he reached destination with his carers been present at drop of. “We didn't realise you had to book on a Sunday to be guaranteed a table. It was a last-minute, belated birthday meal for my grandson. Kate originally dealt with the booking and even went out of her way to call me back. Although they couldn't guarantee that our tables would be together, the following day, Julie, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had tables together. This was especially important as a few of our grandchildren have additional needs, and it would have been extremely difficult if the tables were apart. However, Julie made this happen. All the staff were amazing, making sure the children had coloring activities and high chairs, and giving them lots of attention. Every member of staff was very helpful, pleasant, and honestly couldn't do enough. The food was amazing, and everyone enjoyed it. There was also a very good range of children's meals. We will definitely be back very soon as a family. There aren't many places that offer excellent service and excellent food. Thank you so much to Julie and her fantastic team x”

“Had a very nice Guinness and a sausage brioche bun here at the Beech House at a reasonable price. Parking is free when you validate your car at the screen on one of the counters, there are limited spaces. Great service and great food.”
