“Popped in today to try a pint and I have to say the place looks amazing! The new owners are lovely and the pints are fresh and delicious. Enjoyed a nice pint of Doom Bar and a pint of Neck Oil. There's a darts board, a great looking pool table, a lovely warm fire and the décor is amazing. Get yourselves down and involved, what a fantastic little gem in a booming community. Keep up the great work guys!”

“Went for breakfast, coffee and cake and it was absolutely worth it. Prime location in piece hall with outdoor seating, wonderful staff and customer service and delicious goods. Also quite affordable and a friendly ambience. Would definitely recommend! Is on lower ground floor next to library has wheelchair accessibility.”

“Played badminton here with friends once. Booking in advance. The court was not bad. Staff was kind. Plenty of parking and it seems to be free (I didn't drive so unsure). Haven't used other facilities.”

“This is the best pub In Heckmondwike, Debbie and Terry go above and beyond in welcoming you in to a great atmosphere, there's always a theme going on with decorations throughout, they never miss a trick. This pub is a credit to the area and is well worth a visit.”

“Years ago, we would go for a beer here under protest, now its a good modern pub, with great screens to watch sport and the beer is much nicer than I remember. Can't visit often, but won't be avoiding it any more. The barman was very friendly and polite, thoroughly enjoyed our short visit and definitely recommend”

It's a lovely pub very welcoming, the staff couldn't do more to help you if you have any enquiries about anything, the prices are very very reasonable. They have some good entertainment on for the night times and go above and behind to put on charity events in the aid of MIND for mental health! Absolutely love this pub best one in pudsey in my eyes!!!”
