“Ive been using Idleways for the past 26 years since I was a 14 year old girl. I've always felt safe with them. I got married and had kids so hadn't got a taxi in years but I did tonight and I saw Ash again. I just wanted to thank him for the years of looking out for me and protecting me since I was a young girl. Thank you xxx”
“Nice traditional pub with lots of beer and wine selection good place for a chin wag.”
“What a place! The food is really good and not a greasy spoon at all. The prices are fantastic, you will get well fed here. Free tea/coffee refills and more toast if you want it. The people who work here are so so helpful and treat you like a long term regular even if it's your first time here. Definitely come here over a breakfast from maccys or Greg's you won't regret it.”
“Lovely food, and environment. We'd definitely go again.”
“Have blood here, but seemed like a really nice venue”
“Great food, great atmosphere, very good with children, friendly staff, very cosy.”
“It was Ollie the dog's birthday, and he was brought out a sausage on a plate by two lovely staff singing happy birthday! What a fabulous thing to do and great food too!”
“Very friendly staff. Good prices.”
“Quiet self catering hostel near Todmorden. There's no TV or WiFi, but hostel does get a good mobile phone and BBC radio signal. Water is supplied from a spring which the village shares and which the hostel asks guests to use sparingly. The hostel has gas and electric for cooking and heating. There is a well equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room plus a small separate comfortable lounge. There's parking for approx 8 to 10 cars. Hostel is very popular with walkers. Village has a pub for meals, local buses T6 & T8 to and from Todmorden stop by request right outside the entrance to the hostel. Todmorden can be reached by train from Leeds, has an open and a covered public market, Lidl and Morrison supermarkets, for other supermarkets you would have to travel to Hebden Bridge or Halifax by bus number 592.”
“First time ordered from open kitchen and was very impressed, really tasty and couldn’t fault at all having ordered a few dishes.”
“We popped into The George on a warm Sunday in May. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Patrons were all different ages which is always a good sign. We were surprised to see that they did Sunday roasts - I say this because we checked their website beforehand and it didn't look like they served them. We ordered 2 beef roast dinners with a side order of cauliflower cheese. The portions were huge and we left totally stuffed. We will definitely be back. A wonderful addition to Cullingworth.”
“One of the best little cafés in Bradford with a great menu and lovely staff. Easy to park up. Efficient, fast and friendly staff and great food and drink provided”
“We ordered our first takeaway excellent service, when the food arrived was in a keep warm back very impressive, food arrived hot. The curries excellent, will be ordering again 10 out of 10.”

“Lovely little pub. Friendly staff, quickly served and a good choice of beers. Just how a pub should be and what you want after a good walk!”

“Good beer, reasonable price. Jobs a good'n.”
“Had a lovely meal at the Duke of York. We ordered the fish & chips and scampi & chips — both came in really generous portions and were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a delay with the food due to the chef being unwell, but the team handled it really well — we were even offered free drinks while we waited, which was a lovely gesture. A special mention to Ellie, the manager, who was especially kind and made sure we were looked after.”
“Stopped here for a cup of coffee. Really enjoyed a nice cuppa. The young lady servicing us was pleasant and did her work with a smile. The place was clean, tidy, well organised and a nice atmosphere.”
“Lovely place, really convenient in the middle of Bradford City Centre (top), extremely friendly staff with a warm welcoming, really cheap for a full breakfast considering the current cost of living crisis. Delicious food served within 5 minutes, couldn’t of asked for better service! Big thank you to the staff at Northgate Bistro”
“I went to this community centre. They have a lot of courses to offer. Coffee morning, art and crafts etc...definately recommended it”
“I visited Malik House to enquire about an opportunity for a project which me and a colleague are setting up for which the Business Development Executive Shareen Kellett was extremely helpful.”
“Nice little cafe, makes good breakfast butties at a reasonable price. Friendly staff.”
“The new owners are very friendly, the service on the most part is ok, it would be nice if they look at the tables and see if anyone is running out of drinks, and trying catch the servers eye can be quite difficult. The Indian food is very very good, almost like home cooked. I have been many times, and always enjoy the food. The atmosphere could be warmer, the place looks a bit dated. But I do love going there for the food.”
“This is a great little pub, but unfortunately there is no hand pulled beer here. No food is served here. The staff are very friendly. Great night out at the weekend. A new 'turn' every Saturday night. I attended a birthday party have recently and it also makes a great venue for small to medium sized groups.”
“Went down today with my two children. I didn’t even know it existed until someone mentioned it. £5 per person for an excellent 30 mins peaceful journey along the canal to Shipley and back. Non of that speaking in the background and narrating like others may do. It’s just lovely and silent (apart from my kids of course). Owners absolutely fabulous and really polite. We really enjoyed our self’s and the kids pointing out the geese and the mill along the way. We hope to come back soon. Thank you!”
“Always great, the store would be nowhere without Qasim that guy should set the standard for customer service.”
“We enjoyed lunch at Banyan earlier this week. The food was excellent and has a healthy eating theme - except the puddings! We found the service good and managed get in and out in just over an hour. I think we will return soon.”
“One of the best places around. Always serve Haddock. We call in advance for lightly battered. Ready when we get there. Good Irish spicy curry too Good service. Chatty. Quality fresh fish. Never cheap these days so a treat yet highly recommended. You can also eat in or out or take home. Give it a try.”
