“Tooth implant completed. A fairly long process in that it's divided into stages. From initial removing of a tooth which had cracked, become loose and infected. After a consultant process listing all the available options. From a standard removable denture, to a fixed one, to a full implant. An implant, effectively, gives you a new tooth. But, is the most expensive option. You have to be aware that everybody is different and chances of success vary from person to person. I found that I was kept very well-informed and had a clear understanding of each stage of the process. The implant requires a series of procedures. These have to be timed to enable the bodies natural healing process to take place, before moving onto the next stage. You also have to be aware that each procedure time can vary depending on the amount of work required. I had one very long session in the chair, to remove an amount of infected bone, caused by my old tooth. However, the final result was worth waiting for, with my new tooth being fitted feeling just like an exact duplication of a natural tooth. In conclusion, I am pleased that I opted to go for an implant and can certainly recommend Muirhead & Associates and Dr Ahmer /Ange / Rose and team.”

“I went to see Jamie about an issue with my foot after I broke it. We had a chat about how it happened and what I thought it could be. After mobilizing my foot I felt instant relief and was back up and running as normal the next day! We had a follow up session the next week to make sure id been doing my exercises and was discharged. “Okay so I'm Saba, a patient of Bupa dental at Guiseley since year 2023. I first went amidst of ongoing dental issues more so a crisis because I was without a dentist for quite sometime and was having to go back and forth to emergency one off appointments. Something which I'm sure many of you can relate to. Anyway come to now the present I am one happy bunny because of the much needed due attention, care and help which I have received from Bupa dental and I still continue to do so. I am so very thankful to the entire team at the practice... (majority of them all lovely ladies and few girl's too) starting from the reception members; Maggie, Lisa, Liz, Felicity and Anne Always a joy to see them and be warmly welcomed into the practice. Then there's the dental team again they are all so lovely, I am currently under the care of Miss Alexis and dental assistant/ nurse Celine and it's always nice to see them because not only are they nice but very understanding of my dental health woes and issues always care, care to listen and understand and then deliver the right medical treatment that I have needed and it continues. Honestly speaking I went through a tough unprecedented time with my dental issues so basically I've been through quite a bit with it but I'm now at a much better place/ position all thanks to the help of the entire team at Bupa dental Guiseley.. I am so glad and relieved to get the help I so badly needed. ..The team are fully aware of all this and how I feel so I shall say 'Oh happy days' it is. I would never change my dentist from Bupa nope. And I'd highly recommend other individuals to look into joining the practice they offer a range of treatments and plans at competitive prices. The whole premises is always very clean, staff are all so polite, well mannered and you know that you are in a good place, in good care. The whole experience and process of initial urgent appointment to being referred onto a specialist hospital for surgery was excellent. “Great, knowledgeable people who care about animals. They have x-ray facilities and do some operations on site. Part of a local chain, with an animal hospital in Halifax for out-of-hours services. Offers a 'pet plan' for a direct debit of about £14/month, which includes all flea and worming treatments for the year, and also the annual vaccination. The practice was recommended to me by a friend, and I have recommended it to others.”

“My dog was due for a 6 monthly checkup and annual vaccinations, as well as a Citapoint injection and the administration of her flea and wormer tablet (which she won’t take from me). We received a warm welcome at the Reception Desk, with hugs and treats for my dog, and an excellent session with vet Stuart Black, who made my dog feel very much at home in the surgery, and not only conducted the procedures very efficiently, but gave very helpful nutritional advice.”

“Salaam, I’ve had the intolerance test done in July . My main issue was feeling uncomfortable with bloating nausea indigestion. My weight was never coming down . It’s October now alhamdullilah first thing I noticed was bloating reduced significantly and I feel as though I’ve come down at least one dress size if not more . Hardest part was first few weeks cutting out on sugar now I don’t crave it . Alhamdullilah, ma sha Allah.”

“Had to take our collie to the Burnley practice, this morning, and kind of "knew" that we wouldn't be bringing him home. We don't know the name of the vet who dealt with us, a really young guy, who was lovely to deal with. He was gentle and kind with our dog, and sympathetic, respectful and clear with his explanations to us. We were obviously upset but he made the process as bearable as these things can be. I hope he gets to read this review, or at least is told about it. He's a credit to the practice, and needs to be held on to (take note, managers). “I had a day procedure under general anaesthetic for removal of varicose veins. I felt very nervous when I arrived at the hospital but the calm and reassuring manner of all the staff very soon calmed my nerves. As for Mr. Mahomed the surgeon who performed the operation I cannot recommend him highly enough . The nursing staff were very kind and empathetic when I returned from theatre and looked after me until I was able to go home early evening.”

“Lisa the nurse at Donaldson Vets Sowerby Bridge was outstanding. I needed advice about my 15 year old dog who was dying at home. Even though I wasn't registered with this practice, I just needed guidance and advice from a professional. Lisa without hesitation assisted me and was very knowledgeable and reassuring and gave me the answers I needed to my questions.
