“Cona is an absolute gem for meat lovers. Their burgers and steaks are top-notch, with the beef freshly selected and cooked to the way you want. you can taste the quality in every bite. I love their Wednesday burger specials and the ever-changing daily menu, which keeps things exciting. I recently had their Sunday roast, and it was one of the best I’ve ever tried. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience, checking in to make sure everything is perfect. Highly recommended!”

“Lovely wholesome food, would highly recommend. Tried the masala fish which was flavourful and fresh. Lamb karahi which was made as requested, soft tender meat and really well balanced spices and aromas. The fresh ginger and chillies were perfect. Definitely try if you love authentic pakistani/afghani food, we visited from London and was pleased to see this place hasn't just become a tiktok famous place like many other restaurants who don't care about the food.”

“Just a last minute decision to go out, and saw this place As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed and the staff were so attentive. Great choice of dishes to suit all tastes. The food is freshly cooked and served hot in stainless steel puts with lids to keep them warm. They do not serve alcohol, but I can recommend the mango lassie, great flavour. All in all a pleasant experience, and we would go again.”

“We did not stay here so no stars for the rooms. However, we did eat here and it was tremendously good value and quality. I had the steak and ale pie, with mash and garden peas. the pie is served in the pot and has a nice puff pastry topping. The filling was incredible. There were huge chunks of tender, flavoursome steak. (It made the old Pedigree chum adverts look like they were advertising mincemeat.) I cannot comment on the puddings as we were too full from our main courses to eat one. Very friendly staff, fantastic beers, kept well and served well.”

“Called here for a quick lunch with my daughter. Lovely soup to start on the house, then we shared the mixed grill came with two types of rice, beans and potatoes in a tomatoe sauce. With a nan bread. All delicious very fresh food. Will be back. We had 2 drinks, total cost £17, bargain and very attentive staff.”

“Went for Aldo's tonight and didn't realise that they had joined with Chakkra. Was lovely to have a mixture of cuisines with the same quality as authentic individuals. We had the cauliflower 65 and chicken trio starters which were delicious and we can't wait to go back and try the mains. Staff were super friendly and helpful.”

“Great, iconic restaurant in Central Bradford. I went for lunch. It wasn't busy. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful and inexpensive. Fab. I massively over ordered, having a mixed starter, then a chicken biryani and a chai. Could easily have done without the main because the starter (pictured) was huge.”

“Weekend isn’t complete without a visit to Fortune Cookie for salt and pepper chicken wings and chips. As always, food is on point and scrumptious. Prices are very reasonable. Portion sizes are very generous so you may want to share (even if you don’t want to!). Service is excellent and you are warmly welcomed with a smile by the staff (thanks Kammy) and you don’t wait long for your order.”

“My regular chinese takeaway was closed and I found the orient. Its a little gem tucked away. The lady who took my order was absolutely lovely and food was ready in minutes and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely returning again soon x”
