“I had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious — the chicken wraps were packed with flavor and perfectly grilled, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The sides added a nice freshness and crunch to the meal, and the sauces complemented everything really well. On top of that, the customer service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel welcoming. Definitely a place I’d come back to!”

“This is a impressive old building standing in immaculatey kept grounds. There are a range of restaurants holding AA rosettes up to Michelin star awards. We had lunch in Fletchers restaurant where the food and service was first class.”

“This is a fabulous gem. The food is amazing, with great flavours and large portions for tapas. We had 12 plates between 3 (2 of whom were very hungry) and we had to take one home with us. Olivia was a super helpful, efficient and cheerful front of house and we will certainly be back again. Highly recommended.”

“I love Al Nawab. Always fabulous food to take away or eat in. Very good sized portions, everything freshly cooked. Chicken sizzler is my favourite with lovely large chunks of chicken. You can ask for curries to be more or less spicy and the owners lovely son gives good recommendations. I have had curries from other local restaurants, but they are not as good quality and way more expensive. I like the fact you can take your own booze as it is obviously much cheaper and for anyone who doesn’t realise it isn’t licensed, a quick stroll to Tesco Co-op or Lidl can get you something to wash it all down with. Lovely family business great food and staff, highly recommended.”

“We had a fantastic dining experience at Kobane Kurdish Restaurant. We ordered the lamb Qozi, and it was absolutely great! The portion size was huge, and the food was incredibly tasty. The service was excellent as well—very attentive and friendly. I especially enjoyed the soup that was served before the main meal, and the Kurdish tea at the end really completed the whole experience. Thank you for a wonderful meal! “Extremely nice ambience and service with excellent taste of food especially Cheesy Seekh kebabs. I would suugest them to expand their menu to include Tawa platters, Arabic cuisine like Mandi and also some Noodles & Soups. They also help us celebrate our Birth Day party with nice chanting. “Wow. 20 years I've been coming here and never had a bad meal. The food is truly exquisite with perfectly balanced flavours, interesting combinations and always beautifully presented. My recommendation is go midweek for the £16 2 course menu. Great value. I am an ex chef and ex mystery shopper so am exceptionally hard to please- I flipping love the food here. Go try it. “This stay was part of a road trip staying in similar ancient coaching inns. This one definitely had a more modern feel to it. The room was to a high standard and the bed was the comfiest on the trip. Breakfast was excellent. The bar is cosy and a nice place to pass a few hours. Car park was fun! But if you can get parked it is free. Great location. Staff were all great.”

“Was recommended by a friend so I thought I'd give it a try. I've been enjoying a curry for over 50 years in the heavy woolen area and I can honestly say it's one of the best takeaways I've had and I've tried quite a few. It reminds me of the Shama in Dewsbury I frequented in the 70s. I've had 5 from here and each meal was spot on. Top quality ingredients and generous portions. Well done Shama, my go to curry house from now on!”
