“I love this shop. I used to go to Yum Yums in the lanes for my ketchip manis, a culinary necessity in my house! And I can't find it in Maidstone. But it doesn't open early enough for school drop off.. Sorry, guys! I stumbled upon Yun Feng Foods last month and was pleasantly surprised by the range, considering the size of the shop. The cost of everything has gone up everywhere but I still find the prices reasonable for the quality of the goods. Their range of frozen dim sum dumplings and steamed Buns is awesome. And whilst they may not have as many products as the larger stores, I always find everything I want, and more! But please don't phone asking questions in English and then call them rude for not being able to respond. This is an Asian store with Asian products and staff. The young lady is always very helpful and friendly. Have a wander in, I'm sure you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was.”

“Although we didn’t have sushi, this place is a gem and a delight, it was recommended by a friend at work and I can say it’s highly recommended by me. I had udon noodles and pork with prawn rolls. Service was five star with friendly and knowledgeable staff it’s a warm and inviting atmosphere and just on the right side of cozy. I drove all the way from Croydon although I was generally in the area but would drive back there for more of the delicious udon noodles and to try some of the super looking sushi. Book up if you can the service was quick and with a smile always makes things better.”

My Mum came down from the midlands recently to visit and ordered the chow mein which she said was the best she'd ever had. “Simply levitated by the aroma,taste and Zein of the place. This place offers fresh, tasty Malaysian/pan asian food located on preston street. I ordered the malaysian laksa in soup which was made from udon noodles with seafood some veggies in a soup broth. The smell lit my brain and fueled my hunger. The food was piping hot and fresh and the taste was beyond yummy and fulfilled all my tastes including umami. The ambiance is very chill with nice relaxing background music, comfortable seating, clean toilettes and amazing location. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Service speed is okey, the staff took a while to take my order but the time until food was served is acceptable given the food tasted and felt fresh. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Highly recommend!!”

“This was my first Chinese takeaway since moving to the UK from the US, and it did not disappoint! I collected my food 10 minutes after the order was confirmed, and everything was ready and still piping hot by the time I walked back home. The beef with ginger and spring onions was the standout; I bet this preparation would be good with any protein. The chicken soup with mushrooms was delicious, and I also enjoyed the chicken with mixed vegetables. The bag of shrimp crackers--a freebie for orders over 15 pd--was a lovely surprise. The food didn't come with complementary white rice, and I'm not sure if this is standard in the UK or just this place. If you want rice, be sure to order some. A tasty meal. I would order from here again. (Google makes you rate the atmosphere, and as this is a takeaway, there is none. But eating at home is good atmosphere!)”
