“Did the lunchtime deal on a Thursday, amazing value for money, absolutely beautiful food (the aubergine was so so good), will definitely be back next time I am in Bristol. Really nice wine too, great vibes inside and the service was super friendly, a perfect dining experience.”
“The service was great! Had lovely conversation with the chef who is from Barcelona, and the service staff who is also Spanish! We ordered the steak paella and it was delightful! Full of flavours of the beef and various spices that unfold as you bite into the rice! The rice was nice and crisp and flavourful till the last bite! You can tell that the chef loves to cook and he checked in on us a lot! The croquette was really crispy and rich. The octopus was a nice complexity of flavour. From the sweetness of the octopus, to the punch of garlic sauce and the earthiness of the mash! A great combination altogether! The atmosphere was really nice! Fit for a cosy intimate wedding”
“First time. Healthily sized portions. Well stocked. Smiley and lovely staff. Had the falafel pita. Spicy option moderately spicy.”
“Food delicious, staff attentive and excellent VFM. Enjoyed our dance group Sunday supper because of all of the above. Terrific”
“Great service, and the most amazing falafel. Will definitely be going back”
“Nice owners/staff. Food cooked well. Nice selection of traditional British and modern breakfasts/brunches. Reasonable prices.”
“Myself and friends have eaten in, attended events and ordered home deliveries from Kabab Syrian Cuisine and the food is divine. I could eat their muhammara every day it's so delicious! Having lived in the Middle East, it is some of the finest food from the region I have tasted! The friendly, accommodating service only enhances the flavours as it is cooked with such care and the music played in the restaurant makes a visit a wonderful experience. Shukran and we will be ordering again soon!!”
“One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol! Great food and restaurant. Authentic food, and very reasonable prices. Also easy to book even on a weekend. Would recommend.”
“As soon as we stepped into Beirut Mezze, we could tell we were in for a memorable experience. The ambiance struck a wonderful balance between comfort and sophistication, featuring stylish decor and soft lighting that made the space feel both warm and inviting. Our dinner was exceptional—the dishes were not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Lively, playful music added to the cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. I am glad to choose this place and would 100% recommend to comming here. We’ll definitely be returning to celebrate again!”
“Interesting selection of veggie and non- veggie options. Well executed, a bit of a wait but worth it. Price on the higher end but you get quality. Nice outside seating.”
“Cute coffee shop that has a cozy and local feeling to it. The flat white was delicious and well-made, being very light and smooth.”
“Chicken shawarma was simply amazing and surely worth a try! Clean and tidy shop. Friendly staff. Limited space to eat in however few chairs and a couple of tables could be found on either side of this corner shop.”
“Food was cooked fresh and service was with a smile. Nice little find. Has a shisha lounge in the back too.”
“The spicy chicken wrap was 10/10. Such tasty food and very generous portions! Looking forward to visiting again very soon”
“A really surprisingly good place with great quality fresh ingredients at very good prices. The chicken shawarma was incredibly lean and not greasy at all. Each order was carved fresh from the vertical spit. And the salad and sauce options were perfectly complementary to the fresh Arabic bread. The grilling of the bread keeps the ingredients locked into place so there is no mess when eating. A real surprising spot right in the middle of Broadmead. Perfect for quick-lunch takeaways”
“It was our 3rd time to visit and each visit was always pleasant. This time around we ordered breakfast. The Black Stone bacon with eggs and gooey, melted cheese was absolutely satisfying. Good coffee too. Order large and you get a massive cup. Everytime we eat there, I would always ask for their harissa which is really so flavourful and, yes, very spicy. Good service. You might want to lengthen your patience during busy days; it's worth it. The place is small, with only several tables and a few outside. Overall, always a good experience.”
“Flavoursome and delightful food! So many flavours and aromas. It was cooked to perfection. Thank you for the wonderful food and service!”
“THE BEST AND THE MOST AMAZING CHICKEN WRAP I HAVE EVER HAD. This is our go-to quick brunch place. Honestly really underrated gem of Bath and the owner is very sweet!”
“Best kebab I've had in my entire life, and I have eaten more kebabs than I'd like to admit.”
“This place is a gem. Halal and vegetarian. Right next to a mosque for easy access for prayer. Nice devour and table service, can't fault it to be honest. Update:2021 The place has been refurbished and the food is as great as ever. Managed well during the pandemic and and still as vibrant and energised as ever. A real microcosm of Easton. Can get busy on Fridays in particular.”
“I recently had dinner at Aaran Restaurant and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm and attentive service. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was exceptional—everything was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. “The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, and their vegetable pickle was delicious.”] The menu had a great variety, so there was something for us. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back!”
“Excellent Arabic dining establishment in the town. The cuisine was delectable, the atmosphere was remarkable, and the personnel were both professional and amiable.”
“Fabulous hand made tasty food on Stokes Croft. Grilled jerk chicken was fresh and bursting with flavor from each individual ingredient. Hearty food from happy people at very reasonable prices. The great playlist in the background was a huge bonus. Thanks for a great meal.”
“Interesting choices of authentic Moroccan food in comfortable surroundings with friendly service. I feel the 12.5 % service charge was too much.”
“The naan bread is always fresh and you get three for just £1 which is such good value. The butchers are fantastic and the quality of the meat is always fresh and tasty. The fruit and veg are really good as well, I always get my watermelon from here and it is always juicy and full of flavour. There is also an olive station with loads of choice if you are into olives. The shop itself is very clean and well kept, making it a really nice place to do your shopping.”
“Delicious! Had the mix and match chicken leg shawarma with rice and salad. Enormous portion, I could live off this for 3 days!”
“I have ordered shawarma and Chicken with Rice. Both were awesome, no complains. Price was also very good.”
“Love these guys. Good basic British style kebabs with quality ingredients, generous portions and excellent service.”
“Best brunch in bath! Cosy and intimate cafe located right opposite the train station. I got the biscoff pancakes which were perfect if you have a sweet tooth. The portion was massive and they tasted divine. Service was lovely and the food came very quickly. Would love to come here again in the future!”
“If you are a lover of great Lebanese cuisine this place will not disappoint. The ambience is very welcoming and authentic. The staff is attentive but the younger ones could do with a bit of training. The dishes are of a good size and value(a bit on the expensive side). The food is very tasty, flavours lasting, presentation very good. We returned the next day to try the rest of the menu. Great place. Thank you”
