“10/10 service. this sweet girlie Sophie helped me find parsley when I couldn't. she saved by dinner party. what a gem. she even recommended me her favourite chilli chip that were on offer. mega legend”
“Milkshake machine is great. Also bought some potatoes which were as expected...”
“I have recently stated to use this shop. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help and chat. They have a wide range of stock and the shop looks lovely and clean. Will definitely be using more in the future.”
“This shop has became essential for me so quick/convenient specially recently as well as a decently large selection of product for such a small shop also big parking around back”
“Just wanted to leave a review to say how amazing the staff here are. I have difficulties and bless them they take their masks down at the checkout (behind the screens) so I can understand them and they are very clear so I can understand what is going on. They are so lovely and helpful. Thank you all so much you really make a difference. Love to you all x”
“I work in an office nearby and boy oh boy am I grateful for this Sainsbury’s. The hot food counter is always nice and stocked up to warm my hands in the winter months and the pastries make it hard for me to stick to my diet! Worth it though! Thanks everyone who works here.”
“Nice convenience store, with ready to eat food. It’s perfect for when you arrive at late hours and have to catch the bus or a coach. The staff is really nice and helpful and there a lot to choose from, even late in the evening. The prices are not that high, just fair enough considering you are buying at a M&S at an airport.”
“I'm leaving this review, not for the actual store, but for a staff member called Lewis who went above and beyond to help while we were in the store yesterday. He was so polite, with a lovely sense of humour, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Fantastic customer service Lewis! Thank you for all your help!”
“Myself and family would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for their help and support yesterday.. you were all so helpful and thank you. Thank you to Caroline who stayed and supported us all the time we were there..Thank you all so much.”
“I don’t understand why this store has only 3.5 stars – it’s well-stocked and has a great selection of products. Today, my partner found a Nolina, a potted plant she had been searching for everywhere, and she’s absolutely thrilled! A solid supermarket with good variety and convenient shopping. Definitely deserves a higher rating!”
“One of the better Co-Ops. Staff always friendly and polite. Good stock availability and clean and tidy store unlike some others. Often some good reduced stock on offer too!”
“Convenient little Tesco in the retail unit part of a small block of apartments, where the old Cashmans building built 1912 used to stand. It’s best feature is that it is Convenient, easy and quick to get to and the long opening hours come in handy when you need something early or late. Staff have been on the whole excellent, although I normally use the self-service, that way I get a receipt. It is a habit of a few places, not just Tesco, lately at the checkout not to ask or give a receipt. Call me old-fashioned but I do regard them as essential. It doesn’t have the range of a normal Tesco and sometimes popular items, especially on sale go out of stock, then they have to wait for a scheduled delivery by 44ton Truck and Trailer. Some items are good, especially their own pizza’s, the best and cheap compared to a Restaurant. Several items but not all can be cheaper like snacks and especially liquid refreshment, like water and 500ml Pepsi max, 1.25litre Pepsi max. Overall sometimes items on sale at a good price regularly, pleasant, fuss free experience, convenience, especially hours and some excellent food items. One last reason is Tesco Clubcard, I have my points converted to Air Miles so it is invaluable to keep my balance going between trips so it doesn’t expire and they do have Clubcard offers for holders from time to time in store, like Pizza.”
“All OK. All the products are always in stock. Helpful staff.”
“Just popped in to grab some bits on the Wells Road branch and the store manager was super friendly and helpful, as always. Keep up the good work team!”
“I visited Asda on a quiet Saturday evening and was looking for an item that wasn’t on the shelf. I approached the only employee on the shop floor, Rayhan, and he was incredibly helpful and kind. He went out of his way to provide excellent customer service, even going to check in the back of the store for me and he found the item I needed.”
“Very much friendly people and really understanding pretty it is good price for the fair amount stuff they've try to keep on trying to build a better future for the area”
“Best Co-Op around. Friendly staff and great management in place. If something isn't on the shelf, they will look out in the stock room for you. Shame many other Co-Ops are not the same. Considering I shop in many Southern Co-Ops, shelves always stocked and store always neat and tidy. Southern Co-Op, this is one of the better stores you have.”
“I can't speak for the rest of the gaff but the bakery is a particular highlight - I once bought a raspberry croissant and found a pleasing note bathing in the jam centre that read 'you are worth it. I believe in you. This sweet treat and your purchasing of it seals the deal that you are special and you should know it. Love jasmine x'. Kudos and hat doffing go to this special employee for blessing my day and changing my life. I now believe in myself and lift weights and steal prams from skips to deconstruct and turn into fabricless tent structures.”
“The staff were extremely accommodating in helping me choose which muffin and drink I would like the most. It was really refreshing to enter a cafe and be greeted with a smile. I ordered a decaf cappuccino and the milk was steamed perfectly - not too frothy, but a nice and creamy foam. I was offered a loyalty card at the till, which I plan on filling up quickly - I will be back again next week!”
“Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent customer service.”
“Great prices with lots of choices. Nice to see they still have lots of tills with staff on.”
“Here we have a massive company treating this small shop like it is one of their supermarkets manned by a whole fleet of staff instead of the small shop that it is with its 6/7 staff! Only allowing 2 staff at a time for the most part and having to take in deliveries, respond within minutes for all the takeaway delivery services! Shop for those orders and still serve at the till & Scan in and scan out parcels that there is clearly no room for! The company demand far too much from very few staff in a thankless and quite frankly dangerous job with zero help when needed! I Hope none of you negative commenters will be popping in for your forgotten jar of gravy or pint of milk on Christmas Day since the little shop is not allowed that festive time with their loved ones! As for closing at 10…… they only get paid till 10 and still have to close down and lock up….. maybe they should work an hour unpaid? Morrisons need to seriously look at their little shops and start making things better for all involved! How about supporting your shop and its staff and start making a stand for them for better working life! Which will result in a better shop for the community!?”
