“Really nice afternoon shop. Not overly busy, enjoyable”
“Great lunch and a fantastic improvement. Had gluten free lunch and cake all very nice in a delightful setting.”
“Great coffee place with a wide range of different drinks. Absolutely love their white hot chocolate. Unlike a lot of modern coffee places (like Costa or Starbucks), this has a great local community feel. They got a community board and do various things. Also, their rewards app is awesome.”
“I recently visited the Aldi store on Church Road in Bristol and had a very positive experience. One of the standout features of this location is the affordability of their products. The rates are consistently cheaper compared to other supermarkets in the area, making it a great option for budget-conscious shoppers. Additionally, parking is plentiful and convenient, which is a big plus for those driving in. The spacious parking lot makes it easy to find a spot without hassle, even during peak shopping hours. Overall, Aldi on Church Road offers great value for money and a stress-free shopping experience thanks to its ample parking. Highly recommended!”
“A bit smaller than most Lidls, but very well stocked, super clean, and with very friendly staff. I’ll gladly keep coming back.”
“I recently had a fantastic shopping experience at Lidl in Lawrence Hill, Bristol. The store was well-organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. What stood out to me the most was the ample parking space available, making my visit hassle-free. I highly recommend this Lidl location for its convenience and excellent service.”
“Good range of products at great prices. First Lidl I've been in with self checkouts so no long queues at the checkout, a big improvment”
“Very nice refit – all sleek, modern, and smelling faintly of middle-class ambition. It’s like they gave the place a spa day and now it’s feeling itself. Staff? Genuinely lovely. The kind that smile at you like they don’t immediately want to go home, which in retail is basically sainthood. The food hall’s looking fresh – proper glow-up. Great fruit selection too. The kind of grapes that come in unnecessarily aerodynamic packaging and look like they’ve never known a bruised day in their life. Shoutout to the water aisle. Yes, water. Apparently you can now get “volcanically filtered glacier mist” from a bottle that costs more than lunch. If your self-esteem ever gets too high, just check the price of M&S’s premium hydration and get humbled real quick. Overall, it’s giving: “we’ve got standards and a loyalty card.” Would recommend, just maybe bring a small loan for the fancy bits.”
“Great prices and surprisingly good variety of products; some that are unavailable elsewhere. Obviously good prices and quality goods. It has proved to be worth a weekly visit.”
“My second visit whilst visiting Bristol from Newport. This place is epic, some items could be a bit cheaper but it's absolutely brilliant and sells everything! Items like rare Brut Musk deodorant to great blackout curtains and tea sets. It's neat and tidy and just had a simple, old school feel to it, still haven't fully explored it, looking forward to my next visit. Cafe looks simple yet decent, turning over nicely (11:30am ish).”
“Great selection of foods, fantastic vegan and veggie options. Staff are helpful and friendly.”
“The staff here are generally excellent”
“Brilliant local store.. staff are amazing.. friendly environment.”
“Great Off license.. does what it says on the tin, slightly cheaper and lots friendlier than some of the larger convenience stores.”
“Cheap food great deals family run and very polite”
“This has been an emotional week, stopped off at this Tesco for a few bits. There was a lady called Sue at the till who was an absolute angel. Thank you so much Sue, thing is, you don't even know how you helped me. Thank you so much Sue xx”
“Great store for the local area. Great produce and prices with really friendly staff”
“A great day out, we enjoyed seeing all the different biscuits and finding out what shops were like in the old days, but it's best to take your own food unless you want to pay supermarket prices, we'll definitely go back if the security guards not there, highly recommended”
“Good evening all without exception at all times when I have cold to purchase items from Sainsbury's at Keynsham the service has been excellent the staff are of the best maybe you have to pay an odd penny or two two more more than shops that do not give any form of service you are are a pleasure to come to I am in my 80s and and shopping is one of the few things I still can do I choose to come to Sainsbury's later in the day it is a pleasure to meet such polite staff”
“I recently broke down at Budgens Shell petrol station in Box and I was so impressed by how helpful the staff were. They helped to push my car (that wouldn't start) into a safe place so I could call the recovery team. Such a friendly and supportive group of people and the manager was also very understanding when the recovery van took much longer than expected. Thank you!”
“Grat place wonderful staff made us welcome ,I was visiting the area with my wife on a rockabilly weekend thank again tesco staff Cams see you again next year”
“Great local asset to the area. Can always get the odd bits we need at the last minute. Slightly more expensive but to be expected. Use this all the time and would be a loss of it were to ever close. Helpful and friendly staff”
“Really handy shop! Has everything you need. Friendly staff too. Always found the opening times great!”
“Love this place! The fish is always fresh and crispy, and the chips are perfect every time. Super friendly staff and quick service too. Hands down the best fish and chips around — I wouldn’t go anywhere else!”
“Visited about 4-5 times. Not a busy store. Easy to park. Really clean and the staff were really polite and friendly.”
“I was so impressed with the high standard of service whilst visiting this store today. I met with the manager whose name is Ash and he was so visible and made himself known to myself and fellow customers. I did comment on how approachable and polite Ash was to a member of staff and they responded telling me that he was a "fantastic manager". This I can agree with. Excellent shopping experience. Thank you Ash and all.”
“Fantastic store. Carpark is a little tricky but then it is a small historic town.”
“Very large supermarket. There is a vast selection of goods available, from normal grocery items, to clothing, homeware, and Argos at the front of the store. The staff are friendly at the Argos stand, and offer any assistance if you need it to find any items. There is also a Sainsbury's petrol station, near one of the entrances to the car park. There are plenty of spaces available including disabled and children.”
“Waitrose consistently delivers a high-quality shopping experience and easily deserves a 5-star rating. The store is always clean, well organised, and easy to navigate, making shopping stress free. The quality of the food is excellent, especially the fresh produce, bakery, and own-brand products. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help whenever needed. Prices can be a little higher than some supermarkets, but the quality, service, and overall experience more than justify it.”
