“What a fabulous place! The warmth of the welcome was wonderful. The Full English was superb. A traditional, hearty breakfast that was cooked and served with a smile. First class with no frills. The best fry up I’ve had in a long time!”

“Walked past a few times and always thought it looked unique, and when I visited I was not disappointed. The waitress was very kind, explained when the chef was coming in but prepared our drinks quickly and well. Stayed for the Princess Stack which was worth the wait. Great atmosphere, nice food and good staff, would definitely recommend.”

Don't expect a fry-up breakfast but small bites on toast, light lunches and good, Brian Wogan, coffee. In a venue displaying local crafts. This will become one of our regular venues!”

A+ 17/09/2022 Update: As clean and tidy as ever, with just as good traditional British cafe menu, with very fast service. They have certificates up showing they have a "5" on the food hygiene rating, I can well believe this as the place is always incredibly clean. These guys know what they are doing, and do it very very well.”

“In one of the private rooms for a 14 person event. Room was perfect, it was a Christmas meal and felt super cosy and tucked away from the rest of the pub. Decor was nice. “Popped in for lunch with the girlfriend. Ordered bacon omelette and a beans and cheese jacket potato. Mine was delicious and the girlfriend said her omelette was the best she'd ever had! Waited around 10mins for food. Great atmosphere, lots of friendly locals and friendly service from the staff. Would definitely visit again when in the area.”

“John and his team are so lovely. The food is made FRESH to order, so it may take a little bit of time if it's busy but it's worth it. We had the veggie breakfast wrap and it was HUGE! The picture doesn't do it justice. They also do homemade cakes which are excellent. Take away is also an option! Highly recommend.”
