“What a lovely cafe. Although they have an outdoor seating area, the inside is absolutely gorgeous: surrounded by plants and good quality gifts, it feels a little like sitting in an orangery. We had a block booking. The staff worked really hard to cater for us all (including alot of vegetarians) and the service was great. Dogs are welcome, water provided and there's even a jar of dog biscuits available to buy individually. As for the humans, the food was really nice, the tea, hot and plentiful. Definitely going back.”

“My sister and I visited at lunchtime today (Wednesday 6th August) with her two young children. It was a lovely atmosphere and the food was lovely, but the thing that really stood out was the staff and the service! They were extremely friendly, accommodating, and even though it was busy, service remained fantastic. I didn’t get our waitress’s name unfortunately (brown hair, nose piercing, leopard leggings), but she was so friendly, provided fab service and was great with the kids! I will definitely be back next time I visit the town. Thank you!”

“I popped in today for a quick take-away and was tempted by the Butternut Squash Soup which arrived quickly in a large lidded cup with some delicious looking bread presented in a nice box complete with a wooden knife and spoon. I then drove the short distance to the Chew Magna Lakes and sat in the Sun overlooking the water and thoroughly enjoyed My meal. The Cafe itself is warm and friendly and obviously a favourite spot for friends to meet up. The Staff are very nice and seem happy in Their work. Very glad to recommend.”

“So I've been getting lunch here many times on a Saturday but today was different as Ive recently found out I'm celioac so I'm trying to navigate round different cafes and this definitely gets big win from me the person at the service was so helpful and so understanding and found out ways to help they did say that it was a gluten heavy kitchen but I did find somethings I could eat. “The perfect venue for a 40th birthday, the Library felt as special as the staff made us feel throughout. Food was amazing and of course the cocktails and range of local beers top notch. We’ve popped by a few times for drinks or food, which always feels like a treat date night. Highly recommend.”

“This bar is amazing. Best, tasty and coldest beer in town and the food was delicious. I travelled through here on our recent trip from Australia. Can’t get this place out of my head. The manager (I think his name is Rory) gave me and my partner the best experience and made it feel like home. I hope everyone has the same experience as us. We can’t wait to return.”

“Absolutely fantastic. Warm welcome on arrival and great all round service. We visited on a Thursday which is fish/seafood special night - two courses for £20 - and worked out to be great value. I had five spice calamari followed by Goan fish curry - both were super tasty and cooked to perfection. My other three guests all tried the fish/seafood special but choosing different things and loved it. Really enjoyed our night so highly recommended”

“Fantastic food. Very friendly and happy staff members upon arrival and during service. Ella cooked my food brilliantly and set me up perfectly for the rest of my day. The backroom staff Rory, Emma and Tony all came in to check up on me throughout my meal and stay, just ensure it was to my liking. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who is passing by or to anyone living locally. Who doesn't know about this place I'm definitely coming back!”

The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The cafe also has a great selection of delicious sweet and savoury treats. “Lovely friendly staff, we went to put flowers in the garden of remembrance for our grandad. Such an interesting place to walk around, the groundsman was very helpful & Chatty. Cafe was clean, well priced and scrumpy cakes. Lots of history in the room below the cafe.”

“We are a perfectionist, hardly leave reviews, however this place absolutely deserves one! No fault to the food, simply delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was wonderful we felt we were in knightsbridge (London). What we loved most is that this place is a true Italian unlike most Italian restaurants around which are a company rather than a family business.
