“I dropped in here whilst passing through Wedmore and it's a fantastic place with a huge selection of craft ales from all over the UK, with staff/owners that are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. There's a shop downstairs selling a wide range of bottled and canned ales and ciders (as well as great coffee) with an upstairs seating area and bar area, serving a selection of draught beers. Highly recommended and will definitely be dropping in again next time I'm passing through.”

“Victoria has been absolutely brilliant, I can’t recommend highly enough. My 14 year old daughter had 2 nasty ingrowing toenails, it took time and humour but Victoria was simply excellent and the problem has eventually gone. Shame we had to go private but NHS were taking forever, we couldn’t talk to anyone, etc. Victoria was the opposite and well worth it. Thank you, my daughter is out of pain and things are back to normal.”

There's always a welcome and the transfer service is excellent no matter what the time of day or night. Your car is ready to go on return. My grown up kids now use them too as do many of my friends. “We had a wonderful morning with Gary, Nicky and the wolves. We went to visit with our children (age 11, 8 and 5 - the kids were so fascinated by the wolves - especially feeding them! Gary has a great way with kids and shared facts and insights into the wolves, their habitat, their history in a way that little ones could understand and appreciate - in particular how he got the wolves howling! The kids loved howling along with the wolves. My husband got to go in with them and was in awe of the size of them, such amazing animals - we feel very privileged to have got to spend so much time with them. Thank you!!!”

Jack & Pete are quick to respond, always professional and have both provided an excellent level of service around taking exams and finding the right tutors. The first tutor we were matched to by them could not have been better - she was exactly what my son needed to prepare him for his upcoming maths IGCSE. And they have now found us 3 more tutors for other subjects for autumn exams and ongoing study - and all of them are highly experienced and perfectly matched to our needs. Wonderful service. “Martin led a 90 minute first aid familiarisation session for 17 staff and volunteers of the Westbury sub Mendip Community Shop last week. For most it was a refresher. He tailored the content to our needs, including much useful information and advice as well as use of the defibrillator. The feedback was extremely positive, and we plan to arrange refresher sessions with Martin in future. Highly recommended!”

“I discovered Laura How via her Youtube channel and was intrigued by her study of scientific data, incorporating those findings into her approach to marital relationships and human connections. The best ideas for me are those that challenge mainstream "pop-psychology" belief systems that in practice do not stand up to scrutiny for the long-run. As a human being dedicated to always be challenged, and always to grow in my understanding to be a better spouse, I booked a few sessions with Laura to challenge my own ego, and the approach I have learned from other professionals who have had the same challenges with "pop psychology". I discovered a splendid balance in these sessions. Laura is an extremely kind and warm conscientious human being, yet still summons the balance to confront my thinking in a direct way when needed. My sessions with Laura have added a brand new depth of knowledge of human connection, but also girded the teachings from previous mentors. Laura "walked beside" me on the journey while investigating and interrogating the concepts I practice, and pointed out "the scenery" for my mind's eye to look (good and bad). I absolutely am thrilled with the results, and will definitely employ her expertise in the future when the questions arise "am I using the right approach to this?".”

“Took my rescue dog, Skipper, to get him flea treatment & to get the microchip details so I change it to my details. I have used SPA Veterinary hospital for as long as I can remember(40+years), never had any problems & the staff seem genuinely happy to help with any issues my fur-companions have. Probably the only Veterinary hospital I trust to help me take care of my fur-companions!”

“Fantastically fresh seafood, really tasty with a nice spicy flavour to some of the dishes, Friendly and welcoming hospitality. Would have stayed longer but didn’t book rooms locally- will definitely do that next time. Didn’t have time to take more of a selection of photos, we were too busy eating!”

“Update: The new ownership has changed nothing about this review. Still incredible food, all of the recipes were handed over. So happy this is carrying on for another generation! Just wanted to counter a couple of the recent negative reviews. This place is truly great for lunch if you're in Totterdown. The grilled chicken rice box and wraps are perfect. The marinade and dressings on the salad are just super great. Just feels high quality and healthy with care taken in each meal they serve up. Always a happy smile when being served, its just a great local lunch place. Nothing incredibly fancy, but just reliably excellent at what they serve and always cooked fresh in front of you. The only negative thing from me is how busy they are isn't entirely related to how many people are in the shop as they take quite a few phone and collect orders. I wouldn't begrudge them this business at all though! So if on a whim you pop in its quite variable how long you wait for food, but its always worth the wait for what they hand you over the counter!”

We also got some soft (normal) ballet shoes and they were fitted perfectly too. We live a distance from Dancewell, but I will definately be returning, as it's worth the journey to have such a great service.”
