This is comfortably the best dining experience I have had recently, the service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was delicious in every bite, the wine list was varied and interesting, and the explanations given for each dish had you enjoying the food before you even ate it. “This place is such a gem. I've eaten here twice now, both times sat outside which feels like being on holiday when the sun is shining. The food is incredible. You can tell that a lot love and care has gone into it, with lovely, friendly service too. I normally order a noodle broth when I have Vietnamese food but I was more adventurous on my last visit and went for a fish dish from the specials menu. I'm so glad I did because it was one of the tastiest meals out I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend.”

Their support throughout the entire process was fantastic; they went above and beyond to ensure our day was stress-free and exactly as we envisioned. We genuinely could not have asked for more. “Visited Escala on a Friday night. From the get go the atmosphere was lovely. We had a lovely lady seat us. We ordered a nice bottle of white wine and browsed the menu. The menu has a selection of great choices. Every dish we had was stunning - attached photos with what it is. Really recommend the scallops & sprouts!!”

“Fantastic. My photo taken with my terrible phone truly does not do this food justice. The best meal I have had in at least five years across Europe and North America. Duck breast and potato rosti was superb. Duck was rich, flavourful and succulent. Potato rosti was intricate, savoury and crisp. Cheese and chive rolls with Netherend butter made the perfect appetiser. Sat in the pub area as popped in on the off chance on a busy Saturday evening. Service was great, attentive and welcoming. What a find. Will be back.”

Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, from the perfectly cooked pizzas and pasta to the rich, savory sauces. “Impressed with the lunch here, we had the mixed grill for 2 which included 2 steaks, chicken, cheese, mushrooms and peppers - delicious, especially the chimmichurri sauce. The steaks were perfectly cooked, pink on the inside and very soft. House red was ok but would probably choose something else next time.”
