“I have to say I've now been to this fantastic little place a few times. We've been for dinner and lunch but the breakfast menu looks good too. Each time I am always thrilled with the quality of the food, the generous portions and the fantastic humor that comes with the exceptional customer service. I'd most certainly recommend and I'll certainly be going again as we've already booked our next meal there.”

“Magnificent. I would and definitely will return. We had the calamari to start, which was absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked and a seasoning that is strangely familiar but so unique and delicious. Followed by two fillet steaks with the béarnaise sauce and the garlic mushroom sauce, steaks were perfectly cooked and tender and the sauces were divine. For desert we shared a baileys cheesecake which was lovely and flavorful without being too sweet. All washed down with a lovely bottle of 2016 Bordeaux. So, the hook of the restaurant is to go to the counter to order. Though my partner and I were tentative about this as we usually like to take our time and peruse the menu, this was in fact a delight. The chef behind the counter was not pushy and did not rush us whilst we were trying to decide. Instead, asked if we had any questions. We deliberated between ourselves and had many recommendations from the chef. The service staff were also very attentive and friendly. Top marks here. My only BUT, there always is, and I do feel a little harsh including it was the noise level. We obviously booked a table prime Christmas party season. The parties who attended were incredibly loud. Shouting over each other, obnoxiously drunk, and gathering around each others tables. Though I fully understand and appreciate that this is not the fault of the restaurant at all, it did detract from the ambience. Which we were lucky enough to experience once the large parties had vacated. We will most certainly return”

“Our favourite place in 2025, WOW, what a place, we are on holiday in Cardiff and came across this place, offering lunch time deal for £8.50, we were not disappointed at all. Please have a look at the pic's. The food was absolutely amazing, right size too, flavours were spot on. The staff here are fantastic too, friendly and polite. Can't fault them. We liked it that much that im sitting in the restaurant right now writing my review im that impressed with here. We can't wait to find a local one to us when home to go to. “Looking for a bite at lunchtime we found Tholos completely by chance, we love Greek, so we decided to try it, so glad we did. The food was incredible, a perfect taste of Greece. The staff were so friendly and helpful, advising us on the size of portions (very generous) as we were eating out with our children. The surroundings were lovely, and the food was out quickly, but we still felt at a relaxed pace. The meal was fabulous, we are so glad we decided to go in. If you are nearby, I 100% recommend a visit. We are returning this week to sample an evening meal whilst we are still on holiday. A wonderful place.”

“We had Turkish breakfast yesterday and it was really lovely and tasty breakfast. The staff are welcoming warm and friendly and the food is very authentic and so delicious. We had Serpme breakfast, including Omelet, Halloumi, fried eggs, Black and green olive, mozzarella sticks, cheese, sucuk, Beand, feta, Tahina&Molasses, Rosa jam, Honey, chips and salad. I highly recommend it and are looking forward to returning.”

“Had my lunch here today had the most tasty half chicken I think I’ve had in a long time,it was cooked on a bbq and had the most delicious spices on it. Also came with fries and salad the salad came with a homemade spicy mayo that was also very good. Definitely would order this again.staff are also friendly. Highly recommend this dish”

“It's a very authentic Sri Lankan restaurant. It's very better than Sri Lankan restaurant. I have tried all the items. Its very good in taste and the best part is you can ask them to make it spicy. Best items are fried rice, chicken kothu, all currys, devil dishes , and chicken 65. They make the best Chicken 65.”

“We had an absolutely amazing experience at Caesars Arms. The service was outstanding The staff really made the visit special. The food and environment were both incredibly pleasant and relaxing. I had a ribeye steak after enjoying a goat-cheese starter, their housemade garlic bread, and finished with a Black Forest gateau. The rest of the table enjoyed duck liver pâté, matured sirloin, more garlic bread, a selection of wines, various desserts. A truly wonderful countryside dining experience — highly recommended.”

“Have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Menu changes constantly but never a bad meal. Always choices of exotic meats as well as the staples such as steak and chicken. Staff always friendly and happy to let you know where and what each dish on specials menu consists of. Will happily change choice of sauce if you prefer different to menu.”

“This was delicious! I had the Stilton & Asparagus Pie which was amazing. The pastry was flaky and crispy, it came with peas and gravy and you could choose the potato type. I chose rustic chips and they may be the nicest chips I’ve ever had! The staff are so friendly and can’t help you enough. The car park can be a bit difficult to find, it’s around the back of the venue, up Greenwood Lane (it says it’s a dead end but you turn off into the car park). Make sure to put your number plate in when you get into the venue!”
