βDown to earth, relaxed atmosphere..... Lovely place to get tea and cake on a busy Saturday afternoon. Whilst I'm not a vegan, I was greatly impressed by the flavour and quality of the food options. The place was lively and fun; made a very enjoyable pit stop.β
βA delightful little cafe, and with an excellent purpose. We have visited regularly in recent years but a visit two days ago reminded me what a gem it is: lovely food, excellent value and a nice, friendly atmosphere :)β
βVisited for the first time as was recommended by family and it was amazing The starters were great value with plenty of choice. Silly me forgot to take a picture of them before stuffing as smelt and looked so good. Main courses came out and were so big value for money great flavours in the lasagne the seafood lingie what can I say the flavours were out of this world very big prawns. Defently be paying another visit there and would recommend as service was great and value for money. Thank youβ
β25 of us went for a birthday meal last night and everything was exceptional! The staff were super friendly and attentive whilst the food was phenomenal. Thoroughly recommended!!β
βPretty decent food for a good price, I had a milkshake and burger. The chips were fantastic and so was the milkshake! The burger was decent too. The main takeaway from eating here was the atmosphere was really quite nice in my opinion. It was busy and the decor was awesome! The service was decent but the kitchen is quite small so food did take some time to come out. But if your not in a rush its worth a visit.β
βWe took my parents to the Elder for a very belated Christmas present and it was a fantastic evening in so many ways: some of the best food weβve ever had combined with very attentive but relaxed service with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and felt very well looked after. Every course felt like a treat. We look forward to returning sometime soon.β
βDecided to go for a last minute meal out on a Saturday. Contacted the restaurant in the morning to reserve and so glad we did! Very small, intimate Indian restaurant set in an old wine cellar. The waiting staff were just the correct level of attentive. The music was just loud enough to drown out the discussions around you without being too loud and the found was delicious. Service was perfect. Each dish came perfectly timed after the next and like always we couldnβt go to an Indian without having some poppadoms to start! Meal was great from start to finish. Will definitely be returning.β
βUpdate: My favorites: Coconut rice+lamb korma(? The third dish from the left)+lential garlic soup ============ Very friendly staff and delicious food! The location is close to the bus stop (2min walk). I look forward to trying the Sunday buffet (2-10pm) next time.β
βWe were in Ross on Wye for the weekend and thought we'd give it a go. Food was great, and full of flavour. It's a small restaurant, that had loads of people picking up takeaway. Really pleased we tried it and the lady that runs it is lovely. Please try it.β
βHad the most wonderful time at Olea. The atmosphere was great, staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to be back - I want to try everything on the menu!β
βThe veggie chunk soup was delicious and filling. Love the bread too! My granddaughter had tunamayo sandwich which is also very nice. The lady serving is very friendly. Moreover, there's parking space for my hubby's car. Will definitely visit again to be a First class customer, haha!β
βIf you're looking for a great cafΓ© experience, look no further! The food is delicious, the coffee is perfect, and the staff are absolutely amazing. I can't recommend this place enough! Go check it out!β
βPopped in for lunch with the girlfriend. Ordered bacon omelette and a beans and cheese jacket potato. Mine was delicious and the girlfriend said her omelette was the best she'd ever had! Waited around 10mins for food. Great atmosphere, lots of friendly locals and friendly service from the staff. Would definitely visit again when in the area.β
βHad a pizza here and it was so delicious I had to bring all my friends back. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the tunes and big thanks to Ruby who was really welcoming and attentive. Will be sure to spread the good word about this restaurant. Thank you Pizzuciβ
βThis is my first visit with friends. The restaurant is really sweet and the staff were attentive and welcoming. The food was freshly cooked, presented beautifully and was really delicious. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.β
βHad a large family gathering in the bar area. All 19 of us loved the choice on the menu. Each course was delicious. Very friendly service. Would definitely recommend.β
βImpressed with the lunch here, we had the mixed grill for 2 which included 2 steaks, chicken, cheese, mushrooms and peppers - delicious, especially the chimmichurri sauce. The steaks were perfectly cooked, pink on the inside and very soft. House red was ok but would probably choose something else next time.β
βThe staff were really lovely. They werenβt due to open for another 30 minutes. Seating is limited, even more so because it was raining. The staff were really kind and made me food before they were supposed to open. The short rib was beautiful - really tender and the meat fell off the bone. The chips were good, plentiful, well seasoned and crispy. And they packed my doughnuts in a box to go at my request. It was the best meal during my stay in Bristol.β
βREALLY polite service. Me and my friend ate here for breakfast- we bought fluffy pancakes (one plate each), an ice latte and a Diet Coke. The drinks were perfect with a decent amount and we each got 2 pancakes on our plate- there is a variety of options for toppings on the pancakes- I got berry compote and my friend got the Cadbury's chocolate spread and banana- Each had a large amount of topping and it was warm and freshly cooked. Would definitely come back again!β
βNice owners/staff. Food cooked well. Nice selection of traditional British and modern breakfasts/brunches. Reasonable prices.β
βI haven't had such a delicious cappuccino in a long time! The cheesecake I tried was absolutely amazingβcreamy, rich, and full of flavor. The Coffee Place is a wonderfully clean, cozy, and welcoming cafΓ© with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Thank you for a lovely timeβI will definitely be coming back!β
βI've been here plenty of times over the years either for Friday Fun on a Friday Evening or for Stay & Play Cafeβ
βLovely and fast customer service, banging pizzas, fresh dough made in-house, flavoursome, great value for money, and theyβre always happy to oblige requests. I often need a break from stodgy sourdough pizzas (which are more crust than anything else) and these guys are my go-to every time. P.S. Try mixing up their garlic butter and tomato pizza sauce for an indulgent treat. Really happy to support local businesses like these as theyβre far superior to your run of the mill chains.β
βWow, what a great place. My wife and I had a whole body massage for Mothers day and we both felt amazing afterwards. I literally felt like I was floating half way through. We will be visiting again.β
βWell , what a fantastic place .Went there yesterday for lunch with the family ,who come here on a regular basis. What can I say but the best bacon sandwich I have ever tasted .Staff were lovely and friendly.β
βOne of my favourite places to shop, for snacks, ingredients on the upper floors. (Especially Konjac and Gluten/bean curd snacks) Your best go to for affordable tasty food! Extremely helpful staff who will guide you towards anything you're looking for, please visit, expand your platter!β
βMatt and Lucy are great. They both have top notch customer service skills and are so friendly and welcoming both have give me so great recommendations. Always informative but not over bearing wine snobbery. Matt always know my palette and where to point me for good old trusted favourite alternative and Lucy hit the jackpot for me the other week with Calhavera, something I would of even thought of trying but wow wow wow!!!β
βStokes is a miracle of Moorland road. Having lived in the area all my life stokes has been a true winner in recent years. Wonderful fruit and veg, as well as loads of ingredients which are harder to find elsewhere. I have now moved away and relish a chance to visit every time I am back.β
βFantastic place for gluten free options. Went for Sunday lunch, ive never seen so many gluten free options for dessert! Had the beef, and gluten free crumble, will definitely be returning to experience the other menus they have on weekdays.β
βGood range of food and drinks all reasonably priced. Best of all is that the food is home made and there are some good gluten-free options. Polite, friendly and helpful staff too. The decor is retro and fascinating. If conversation funs dry there are books on the shelves and games too.β
