“I brought my dog to Vets4Pets Newport Road after a rough experience at another vet in Cardiff. There are a few things I appreciate about this hospital: - The vets are skilled with good bedside manner, and I was impressed that they offer sonography, radiology, and orthopaedics. They also take the time to talk through your pets care with you and make sure that you understand everything. - They offer emergency services. Although my dog's case was pushed back a day, they helped another pup with an urgent surgery. I am from the States, and these cases nearly always get bumped to emergency clinics and speciality hospitals. - They respect my knowledge as a licensed vet nurse in the States. Other vets dismissed any concerns or knowledge I had of vet med. I've been in the field for 16 years, and I am a skilled nurse, so I appreciate that being recognized. - Their prices are reasonable. - Most of the staff handled it well when I was upset when my old dog's case was deferred to the following week (there may be some lingering irritation with me from some staff, but that is okay). The only issue I had was with an estimate being a little off, but that happens in vet med. They were able to fix some things to honor the price they quoted me.”

“I have booked twice now and both times have been so relaxing, my first treatment was the Luxury facial which cleared and refreshed my congested sensitive acne-prone skin and my second was micro needling that was recommended for post-acne scarring. “Have had several pregnancy scans performed at Oak Tree Clinic and I’m so glad I chose this clinic! Very friendly staff, easy booking process (often with deals available) and amazing quality scan pictures and video clips done by the lovely Sonographer - Sophie. Was great to see the scan on a big screen in front of us rather than looking at the small screen attached to the ultrasound machine but most importantly it was incredibly reassuring to know the scans are being done by such highly qualified staff. Have recommended the clinic to other pregnant friends already!”

As a keen badminton player (playing 3, 4 or 5 times a week) for many, many years and less so as a cross country runner, there's always some part of my body that's failing; strains, tears, misalignment, over use. “After seeing my GP, podiatrists & trying various gadgets, spacers etc I thought that maybe surgery might be my best option to sort out my painful bunion & overlapping second toe on my left foot. I then had bunion & fore foot realignment day surgery at Spire Cardiff, the operation was performed by Mr Perera using a minimally invasive procedure via keyhole surgery.
