“Just been for a lovely lunch. The vegetarian and vegan selection is really large which I loved. I had the mac and cheese and it was one of the best I have had in a really long time. Really comfy chairs to sit on and all the staff were super friendly. Really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back again and try more delicious food!”

“We came here for the first time having come for a walk and we were really hungry! We used the lift to get upstairs which was quite honestly terrifying, only to find out you can enter via the slope at the top The ladies were so nice and made sure we had a good table with our buggy. Way more choice then we thought I had a jacket potato with cheese and tuna My husband a burger, food was nice, burger quite expensive but it did look good when it came and the chips, salad and onion rings were yummy Service was brilliant very quick and friendly There is lots of adverts for organised events and walks etc.”

“Stayed here over night with our motorhome. Lovely quiet place to stopover next to the canal. Traditional style pub with friendly staff and locals. Doggy friendly also, so put this stopover on your trip.”

“We were very hungry visitors to the town. Never visited before, and was on the look out for a full English, we were actually heading to find somewhere else but this caught my eye. Never heard of it before but have since learnt that they have many around the country. Welcome and service was exceptional. We had a person with an allergy with us and the staff were very thorough and made us all feel at ease. Allergy menu available on line and easy to see. Food arrived and it didn't disappoint at all. Great portion with a bit of everything on it and it was amazing. Thank you to Liliana for being an enthusiastic, helpful, chatty ray of sunshine and making it all the more special. “Came here on a lunch break Tried the burgers before in Leicester and they were ok. Standard burger really but wanted to try the loaded fries. Had the bad boy hot mess !!! Wow best loaded fries i have ever had !! So full of flavour. Could eat these all day Keep up the great work guys”

“My go to place for take out evenings. Food is usually really good delivery doesn't take long.. typical 45 mins.. prices have not long gone up but still pretty reasonable. It's a shame that the eat in option has gone. Atmosphere is usually busy on the weekends (good sign) walk in to collect and you don't usually have to wait too long either..”

Would recommend for anyone that is looking for Chinese food that is based on unami favor; they also do sweet and sour/hot and spicy but it's the traditional northern Chinese food that shines.”

“A great little arena with reasonably priced parking. Although the queue to get in and out was huge so factor in that time. Dress for it being a little colder than a regular event. The match is very family friendly with music when the game stops and encouragement from the DJ and the mascot to cheer. Excellent atmosphere.”

“Stayed at this hotel with work, and I was really impressed from my arrival. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and spacious rooms. I was greeted with a friendly welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. I had injured myself prior to visiting and staff were quick to help out. Even though they did not have any ice packs, they made sure to improvise and I couldn't be more grateful. Bar service was quick, and they accommodated a large party for dining. Food came out quickly and tasted great. A great sleep after a long drive!”

“Staff members were so friendly. Especially the waiting staff you meet for breakfast, one in particular Caroline and Anna the cook. They both had the time to interact with my partner, myself and our 2 year old son. Caroline even came and sat with us and told us to go get some breakfast while she helped feed our son, gave him colouring pencils, drew with him getting to know new names etc .. Anna who is Polish I think she would always greet our son with “good morning, baba!” Since we’re now back home our son has never forgotten and he would run up and say mummy Anna says “good morning, baba!” Next door to Premier Inn there is TGI FRIDAYS. We got our dinner in there on the last night. Food was amazing 10/10 but expensive. Make sure if you eat here and you’re staying at the Premiere Inn next to it you tell the staff to get 20% off. Location isn’t bad up the road you have McDonald’s and Asda. Although it wasn’t easy to find Asda but after a few tries of searching and getting lost we found it lol. Other than that it’s a great place to stay 10/10 No noise, beds were so comfortable, top notch.”
