“Having recently tried this Chinese take away, I must say, it really is a cut above the rest in the area! Their curry in particular was extremely flavourful and rich in aroma. The portion sizes were also more generous than others I’ve tried. Definitely will be my go to takeaway from now on!”

“We try other Chinese take outs, but always come back to China garden, their sweet and sour sauce is lovely. The chicken and vegetables are very tasty with lots of different veg, which is great when your trying to loose weight but want a little treat. Beef and mushroom curry is nice with big chunky mushrooms, and the 2 x big spring rolls are tasty with a nice crunch, enjoy ☺️”

“Foleshill Grill is a local loved spot that is pretty reasonable yet really tasty serving up some top quality grilled chicken. We normally get a whole chicken/family meal from Foleshill Grill for around £30 which goes a long way (4-6 people). Interestingly they are also known for their coleslaw which is super unique and is a must have when visiting. The owner is a very friendly person, who can provide good recommendations for what you would like to order. The shop has been through a refurbishment, however needs some work inside still to bring it up to top quality. What makes Foleshill Grill stand out is the consistency in flavour and portion sizes. The chicken is always perfectly seasoned, juicy inside, and has a great char on the outside. Their peri peri sauce has just the right kick without overpowering the meat. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. The sides are generous too – the rice is aromatic, the fries are crispy, and the naan is always fresh and warm. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a family meal or a quick bite with friends. Staff are friendly, and service is generally quick even during busy times. Parking can be a bit tight, but it’s worth it. They have a few seats inside the shop, but the majority of orders are for Takeaway. They are also on Deliveroo and Just Eat. All in all, Foleshill Grill is a hidden gem in Coventry, especially if you love grilled food done right. Great value, delicious meals, and that unforgettable coleslaw make it a favourite.”

“The customer service was excellent! I was notified 20mins before by the kind lady about my delivery order being slightly late but still confirmed that the order was going to be fresh and hot when it arrived and it did! The food was hearty and comforting, would definitely order more :]”

“First time eating at Hish tonight and wasn’t disappointed. We went in to order, had to wait 10 minutes or so, but I’d much rather do that and know the food is freshly cooked just for us. Hardly any grease on any of the food. Really tasty and good products used for the meal. Will 100% return and encourage others to try it if you haven’t”

“5 stars flat. You cannot go wrong at Cheng’s Garden. Over the past 3 weeks, we’ve ordered take outs 3 times and the food just keeps getting better. The sweet and sour hong kong style is so good (and sweet of course), the chow mein and fried rice is to die for. Man but the Prawn toast ? My god. Best thing I’ve had in a while. I would highly recommend them. Please note that they only take cash though!”

Salad is neatly presented and not all soggy like McDonald's lettuce. Very friendly staff. Something different, and the food is fresh! Highly recommended. To the people complaining on the JustEat reviews; they were a new company at the time trying out JusEat, so there are bound to be small errors, try going INTO the store and eating in, can't fault them Orders take slightly longer as burgers and wraps are made fresh!! “Yesterday had the Italian crust veggie pizza from Domino's Nuneaton, and it was spot on! The crust was super thin and crispy, exactly how I like it. All the veggies were fresh and tasty, and the cheese was melted to perfection. Big shoutout and special thanks to the store manager who personally made this pizza ! Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in a while—will be Coming again very soon for sure!"”

“The staff, food and service was all excellent. We were on the canal and wanted a treat, called up and they were helpful about bank holiday opening hours and we walked there and got a fabulous meal. Good value for money, attention to detail and very tasty. Sausages HUGE and the kebab was delicious. Fish was enjoyed very much and nothing was greasy and chips perfect.”

“There are 2 tables behind where one can eat inhouse. We had a simple lunch here. Thali has 2 subzi and 1 daal, one can select form what is there. Then we had 2 theplas for the kids. As we went quite early it was empty and staff was chatty with us. Then we had a chocolate burfi which had an actual layer of chocolate, in India it is just barfi with chocolate color.”

“The Kebab was absolutely awesome. Proper old school chippy Kebab. Top quality marinated chicken and Donner that has a decent flavour. Naan bread was also lovely and salad super fresh and crunchy. Leagues ahead of any of this Just Eat/ Deliveroo Carp. Oh, and the portion was so large, i now have 2 days worth of Kebab and chips left. Putting the chips in the air fryer made them super crispy and delicious. One other thing, when i went in, the first thing they asked me is if i wanted any fish cooking, sign of a chippy that is happy to cook to order so fresh. Good stuff.”
