“We come regularly for music and messy play. Emma has always been very welcoming and easy to talk to, there are a variety of toys for the children to play with in the role play area whilst we wait for other parents and carers to arrive and my son loves it. The messy play varies and Emma takes on board what the children enjoy and what they don't for her future sessions, we know in advance what the messy play will be so we can plan the children's clothes in advance and I personally love that.”
“Ideal for a party or get together, perfect having so much outdoor space. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need”
“Clean enough glasses, jugs etc for a celebration of life. Good parking , in fact perfect.”
“I can not recommend this nursery enough, My two girls started at 5 months old and I was so so nervous about leaving them why they were so little, but the staff put me as ease and made me feel so comfortable in leaving the girls in their care. Now the girls absolutely thrive off nursery and love going in everyday to the exciting activities available. When my girls don’t go to nursery they really miss it. Which really puts my mind at ease that they are having the best time while I work.”
“A great community arts centre, which offers something for everyone. Concerts, drama productions, comedy, various classes and exhibitions, there is always something going on. There is a bar and food is sometimes available ( check availability). The Brewhouse is wheelchair accessible and has disabled parking nearby.”
“Fantastic place to visit.. so much history.. my 7 year old daughter loved it. Stunning vistas of the surrounding counties.. well worth a visit. Would love to go back when they have a historic event on too!”
“Good place for a choir practice Easy to find and plenty of free parking.”
“My wife and I recently hired the entire Jangala venue in Hilton to host our baby son's 1st birthday party. We had about 70 guests in total. The event was a huge success! The staff were fantastic and very helpful, both in the run up to the event and on the day. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The food for the children was appealing and delicious. We also ordered sandwich and samosa platters for our adult guests, and these were well-presented and went down a treat. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed playing and partying at Jangala, and we would thoroughly recommend this superb venue for people to looking to celebrate special occasions.”
“Attended a wine and cheese tasting event at Amalfi White - what a fantastic experience! The lovely Emma hosted us and her knowledge of wines and the process of wine production was so interesting- we also tried (and were converted to) some wines we had never thought of or heard of! There was also a fantastic selection of delicious meats and cheeses (always pleases!) I’d definitely recommend it for future events. Thanks Emma”
“The restaurant has a classy atmosphere and serves a variety of delicious dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Everyone here really friendly, lovely and Helpful. Thank you so much.”
“My daughter has been going to the Carlton Nursery for about 15 months. I have to admit I was on the brink of moving her ... then I met Emily ... and then Jo. What a difference they have made! The staff are brilliant with both the children, and with me as a parent. They’re supportive and nothing is ever too much trouble. I don’t have to worry about being called out of work because they’re too short staffed or there’s something they can’t handle. She has a milk allergy that they’re prepared and equipped to support. This was very severe when she was younger and a real source of anxiety, so finding a nursery that I could trust was very important to me. The nursery itself has had a face lift. The staff are friendly and engaging. My daughter is always coming home with things she’s made or drawn; she literally runs in in a morning and reluctantly comes home in the evening! She has a real bond with a number of the staff, which gives me the confidence that she is getting the care and attention she needs. I honestly can’t recommend this nursery enough.”
“Good size room for our meeting of 14 people. Comfortable chairs. Very warm. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Hot water. Very satisfied. Some parking at the rear of the building.”
“Fab birthday party this morning for our 4 year old. We chose the 9-11am package and the breakfast food was great. The kids all had the best time and it’s great that there’s nice coffee and breakfast available for adults to order too. Would definitely recommend ☺️”
“We had someone's birthday party arranged here and we were guest visiting from WOKINGHAM.I never in my life had an experience of going to a community hall for any event but this one was of great experience.A proper big hall with plenty of tables and chairs for the guest to be seated .A reasonable size kitchen with self serving trolleys etc . Very cleaned toilets for both . Plenty of parking space.I had a great time with family. Would recommend to anyone looking for celebration or events etc”
“A brilliant family day out. Free parking is available and just a short wait for the gates to open. There is something to do for all ages here, visited with two children ages 12 and 15 and enjoyed by both. This park is great for those who don't like massive rollacoasters or queuing for hours to get on a ride. The queues were all short, or we were straight on. The climbing wall and the rope swing were the only two attractions that had a bigger queue or wait time. Various food and drink outlets dotted around. We chose to have a pizza, which was nicely done. Old classics like the log flume, river rapids, pirate ship and high wire seats were enjoyed by all. Photos for the log flume are reasonable prices, the pottery craft painting was only £5, and there is a gift shop at the exit to buy a keepsake or gift. Whether you've got a little one or older one there's definitely something for everyone. £65 family ticket offer for a family of 5 was great value for the amount of things to do. We would visit again.”
“My grandson loves Conkers, both inside & outside activities! The staff are lovely, the Halloween decorations were fab and, even on a cold October day, we spent 3 hours in the playgrounds, on the train & in the Enchanted Forest inside. Our annual ticket costs £63, as my grandson lives in the National Forest & that gave us a £7 discount - he lives 20 mins away, so we can dip in & out all year. Well worth it!”
“Lovely night out good price on drinks”
“Had really great customer service from Wren kitchens in Derby. Hakeem was my designer who was absolutely brilliant he took the time to listen to all my needs and make sure everything I wanted I achieved. I honestly couldn’t fault him at all. Hakeem went above and beyond. Would highly recommend Hakeem.”
“A lovely ground, came last year against Middlesex. Not been since the early 90s. Was told you can take the dog for county championships games. Which is brilliant, so much more convenient. Especially for us.”
“Brilliant array of nice home furnishings”
“Such lovely caring staff, healthy snacks and meals for the children, very mindful great activities and toys for the children to play with indoor and outdoor. Staff are as flexible and thoughtful with the children and their parents as they can be, very helpful and caring with the children and parents too, children are their priority always, definitely recommend :)”
“Went for the first time with my Grandson. Lovely welcome and the staff were very responsive and friendly throughout. Food and drink was good and very reasonably priced. Good toilets and changing facilities Well organised, clean, safe. A very positive experience means I plan to go back regularly. Thank you.”
“I have been here on several occasions over the past few years as used for different children's playgroups to which I have taken my grandchildren. You can hire it for parties &small family celebrations although it does not have a licence, the Council use it as a polling station&I believe several young football teams use the grounds for training& facilities in the pavilion for changing rooms&on days it is open you can use the toilets if on the park where it is situated.”
“Nice little social club that we visited for my sister's 40th birthday party. Next to a golf club too.”
“I think that most people know of Matalan and this is a nicely spaced store with a good range of very reasonably priced clothing for all the family. The children's range is very useful as we know how quickly they grow out of clothes before they have had their wear out of them! There is a range of household goods too. The staff are friendly and helpful. In addition there is free parking here for four hours if you want to visit the town centre on your trip !”
