“Having a strong recommendation from friends for this restaurant which give us no regrets, although is a bit far from where we live but it's really worth it. They do the all you can eat buffet menu which is a bit different from Wing Wah or Cosmo that you need to go to pick your food from the warmer, foods will get dry for a period of time, but in this restaurant, you pick what you want from the menu then the chef will cook it fresh and the waitress will bring it to your table, that is totally awesome​, you pay about the same price per head but getting so much joy while you eat, meats are so tender and tasty, we have enjoyed every bit of it, I like to say thanks to all the staffs from River Garden Restaurant in Belper. We have already booked a table on Father's day, so see you soon.”

“Been ordering from here for years, delivery is always quicker than the expected time shown on Just Eat, have tried other places when this one is closed but nothing comes close, the portion sizes are massive and cheaper compared to other Chinese restaurants. Even had my family that live up north try it when they come to visit and they agree it's the best Chinese they've ever had! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!”

“Wow first visit had the mega munch box and wow the food was awesome best Chinese food I have ever had a must try the munch box is the best value you get so much for £25 the spring roo.s and samosas were unreal, ribss great taste chips were good not you cheap crap chips very chunky then the fried rice and noodles were a great, curry and sweet and sour sauces were just sublime all in all Deffo return, I only have one remark is the young man taking my order very how can I say , grunted there was no hello welcome to goldengate my names Jim how can I help, that sort if thing. “Becoming my favourite Chinese! The food is excellent, we have never had a bad meal. Sometimes they are busy, but that is because of the quality. Never get that regret the next day after having it. I thought the first one we tried in Woodville was good.... but this one is definitely better!!! However, I recently went for a meal again to try it out one last time with my friends as I thought I’d give the restaurant the benefit of doubt. All I can say now is WOW!!. The restaurant is under new management and the food is absolutely amazing. The new owners and staff are a delight to talk to. The food is never swimming in grease like many and the portions are generous. There is always a pleasant welcome from the staff on the counter”

“We went on Valentine's night and chose the all you can eat buffet menu. There was a lot of choice and it's cooked to order. The food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. They helped when we asked about gluten free options for future visits with my daughter.... service was a little slow but overall it was lovely. We'll definitely go again.”

“A small takeaway, tucked aside on the high street, no longer Chellaston's main road. The quality is A-mazing! The satisfaction is in every bite. We were set to go off to fetch cash, but they allowed us to do a direct bank transfer instead which worked well. We're not often in the Midlands but if we are, this is where we'll come.”
