“What an amazing hidden gem of a restaurant! We ordered the three-course set menu, and every dish was delicious. The best naan bread i've ever had too! The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended!”

“I stayed in Derby for 4 days for work and I only wish I’d discovered this place at the beginning of the stay. I’m on a bit of a low carb kick and all I could find in Derby was pizza or fast food. The food here was absolutely delicious and fresh, the Greek salad was perfect with a large chunk of feta on top, the skewers were cooked to perfection. The chap who served me was friendly and very helpful and the restaurant itself was lovely, I opted for takeaway as I was in a rush but I’d definitely sit in there on any future trips”

“Ordered steak , it was so amazing cooked and taste very nice! The portion was very good, couldn't even finish all chips ! There is no place in derby with same taste of steak. Highly recommended. Interior inside amazing, really love it. Friendly staff. Definitely come back to try something more from Greek cuisine!”

“I've been put off from ordering due to negative reviews for some time but tonight thought I'd just give it a go So I'm specifically looking for freshly grilled chicken and lamb on the skewer over a flame grill. Something I used to get at TJs in Leicester many moons ago. The key elements for me is never old meat sitting in a bain Marie and the option for grilled onions and peppers. So here's what you get. The most succulent, delicious and perfectly barbecued chicken and lamb straight off the skewer. Perfectly marinated and cooked fresh. The option of grilled peppers and onions and absolutely incredibly delicious barbecued mushrooms for just only £2 extra. The naan bread was soft and delicious and perfectly crisp on the outside. Generous portion of salad and delicious. Slightly crispy but perfectly pickled peppers. Food arrived. Piping hot and can only wait at 10 out of 10. This is by far my new favourite kebab place in Derby. We will be ordering again!”

“Wow! Caught a last minute booking for the ten course - yes TEN - tasting menu. Fab-u-lous! Something so wrong yet right about starting with the unmistakable taste of a Big Mac from the first course but we then cantered through so many creative and sumptuous dishes, each painstakingly presented and introduced by her enthusiastic and friendly team. Start with a cocktail and then enjoy taking your time with the wide choice of wines to suit all tastes (and budgets). We went with a Montrachet as it was a special occasion and the food deserved a wine to match. But please don’t make a reservation - it was hard enough to get one this time!”

“Went here after seeing mashtag go and ordered 3 dishes teriyaki chicken which was not very spicy my teenage daughters request it was amazing 9 out of ten then a seabass dish also amazing 8 out of ten my preference don't like citrus then a beef rendang don't no ifs that's spelt write this was a bit spiced and also my daughter who dosnt like spices favourite massive 10 out of 10 all meals were either with rice or noodles but we had both which were cooked beautifully the presentation was eye pleasing apparently they have been there 8 years so not being from derby didn't no about it the staff were brilliant explaining the foods any one who reads this needs to go I don't normally do reviews but think hari hari and it's staff deserve a shout out”

Definitely order the olives as well! Loved the fact that this was a family run restaurant and you can really see the effort put in especially into the food. “Delicious Thai food at Tom Yum Thai Kitchen. We ordered the set menu so shared a platter with five starters including spring rolls and gyoza, everything was really tasty. The mains were chicken in oyster sauce, beef massaman curry and a duck dish. Everything was well presented and tasted so good. We were staying locally for the weekend and specifically drove to Belper to find this place after hearing good things! It was very busy for a Sunday, I imagine with it being a bank holiday weekend, so the staff were rushed off their feet, but were still brilliant. Just a note about the toilets which are up some stairs and down a corridor; the restaurant is located in a converted mill.”

“Came here for the first time tonight after the refurb, Finn is an asset to the team, he went above and beyond. Great at delegating professionally to make things run as effectively as possible! Only thing I would say is that the chips could be made more crispier as they were on the dryer side. I do hope Finn gets the recognition he deserves for providing excellent customer service.”

“We visited today for my birthday and oh my goodness it's was brilliant. Absolutely fantastic service from a very friendly guy (didn't get his name!) from the minute we walked in. So refreshing to have a waiter who does things so well. Cocktails were lovely and well made and the birthday card was a very nice touch. We both had three courses, and finished every last bit of it all! Really delicious. My husband particularly enjoyed the Thai sweet potato soup and I absolutely loved the rump of lamb. “A friend and I arrived without booking and the staff were very accommodating, we had to depart by 7.30, but arriving at 6.15 gave us plenty of time. I had king prawn and chorizo penne which was really good. Followed by cheese cake accompanied by a glass of fizz. Really good food and very good service.”
