“Absolutely love Flying Tiger, this branch inside Waverley Market, It’s one of those stores where you walk in needing nothing and come out with something. The layout is tidy, well stocked, and the staff are friendly and helpful. What I appreciate most is how organized everything is it’s easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed, and they’ve maintained the playful energy the brand is known for. It’s a great place to pick up cute gifts or practical items while exploring the city. Even though it’s in a busy location, the shopping experience felt calm and enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re near Waverley Station or in the city centre, it’s such a fun and colorful little break in your day!”

“It's a great place to chill. In the center you can find a pond full of life. You can even feed the wildlife if you have bird food with you. There's a good area to enjoy the sun (when there's sun) with your friends or family. It's nearby the Meadowbank so you can always grab a coffee and take a walk around the park.”

“A great first visit to this soft play. The girls working were fantastic and so helpful. Coffee was great and good value for money. Kids really enjoyed it, will definitely return. Only thing I would say is I did need my coat, it’s chilly when it first opens. Didn’t affect the kids though.”

“Great stadium, would be better with the corners filled in or atleast boarded up to the roof to create a better atmosphere. The noise can be incredible at times, sadly the "singing section ultras" seem more intent on banging their wee drum from time to time rather than making up chants and creating any kind of buzz inside the ground. Been coming here for over 25 years and loved seeing the development around Easter Road, some great teams aswell as horrific results along the way but wouldn't be anywhere else on a match day.”

“Princes Street Gardens is a large public area, which sits along the south side of Princes Street, beneath Edinburgh Castle. The park is a peaceful haven right in the city centre. The gardens are actually made up of two adjacent parks, East Princes Street Gardens and West Princes Street Gardens. East Princes Street Gardens has always been a public park, while West Princes Street Gardens was privately owned until 1876. The Gardens lie in the valley between Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town, on the former site of the Nor Loch. This polluted loch or lake was drained in the 1760s and work began on the gardens around ten years later. Today, Princes Street Gardens are popular with tourists and local residents as a place to walk and picnic. There's a lot to see over 37 actes of parkland, including many monuments and statues. Several annual events are held in the gardens too. Princes Street Gardens is one of the most important urban parks situated in the heart of Edinburgh. It separates the Old Town from the New Town. The gardens are over 37 acres (150.000 m²) and are divided into two parts by The Mound, an artificial hill that connects Edinburgh’s New Town and Old Town and where the Scottish National Gallery is located. Garden History Princes Street Gardens was created by draining Edinburgh’s largest loch, the Nor Loch. Nor Loch, which was first a marshland on the north side of Edinburgh had initially been used as a natural Medieval defence along with Edinburgh Castle. With the north and west parts of the town protected, Edinburgh only needed a fortification on the east and south sides of the city. From the Middle Ages until the nineteenth century, it is believed that the Nor Loch was where “witch ducking” would take place (this was a way of discovering if a suspect was guilty of witchcraft), an ideal place to make dead bodies disappear, where water waste was thrown out and some historians believe that despite this many citizens would even go to the Loch for fresh water. Princes Street Gardens were designed first in the 1770s but were inaugurated in 1820 when the lake was completely drained. Beautiful All Year Round The Gardens are beautiful all year round. It is where many locals meet up, especially at the Ross Fountain, the park's most important monument. This cast iron structure was installed in 1872 after having been an exhibit at the Great Exhibition of 1862 in London. Every year at Christmas, part of the Gardens is transformed into the “Winter Wonderland” with a Christmas Market, an ice rink and many other fun attractions, including a Ferris wheel that stands 108 ft (33m) tall, often called The Edinburgh Eye.”

“Nice and clean room's. Plenty of space to dine and the bar area is reasonably sized. Parking, Plenty of spaces and will fit the larger SUV style car's too. Staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. Pool, steam room and the changing area's all in good order and clean. Can't remember on the pool area but the room's and bar are wheelchair accessible. In house WIFI available. Would I visit again? Yes yes I would. We found it a very good spot for excursions as it's located near the main road's and made the day trips start well. No body wants to sit in traffic at the very start of a day out. Forth bridge and Kelpies are very close by if you want to cross them off your bucket lists quickly.”

The facilities were fab, the food was good quality, the staff were all so lovely, and the laser tag part was so so well organised and fun. Huge thanks for a brilliant party.”

“Very well run, staff are very welcoming. It’s the parents who let it down! Three mums sitting inside the toddler area so other’s toddlers intimidated to play (plenty seating outside of same). Badly behaved children(bullying) completely ignored instead of putting a stop to it. Really like the quirky seating area and food and drink options are excellent.”

“I have been using Lasswade centre regularly for a few years now and I really enjoy it. The reception staff are lovely. Michelle’s aqua classes, step classes and weights classes are amazing. After years of failing at several exercises I’ve come to realise it’s not the class, it’s the instructor that makes all the difference and Michelle is amazing. She is encouraging, real and motivating, knowing the perfect balance when to give a gentle push to do better and giving praise when you get it right. Her sense of humour and her energy never fails to make us all smile. She provides a relaxed, fun and safe environment to work out in and makes us all feel included and part of her team. There is always good banter that even some lifeguards and members of the public can’t help but join in as they pass. Her classes are fun and extremely rewarding. As a bonus the gym is getting an upgrade this winter which is great!”

Both were great, Lauren in advance of the party and organising numbers and requirements with me, and then Jamie for managing 20+ kids on the day too. Thank you for making our boys day special!”

“Highly recommend. Brought my daughter to the zoo for her first birthday and visited the soft play while we were there. My daughter loved it. Very big with loads to get up to. Big slides and the baby area is brilliant as well. Very clean. The little cafe is good serves your normal food and it was served roasting hot. The floor however was very dirty, but to be expected when there’s loads of kids in and out. Plenty high chairs as well. Friendly staff. Also a very good price as well. I went during the week day at half past 3 and it was practically empty. Decent long sessions as well for the price.”

“Booked a 4 year old’s party here and was impressed with everything. Excellent staff who were great with the kids, they were on top of allergy requirements and they have a good softplay setup. Let us use our own playlist for the birthday party which the kids loved. Can see why this is so popular for birthday parties in the area. Will be back with the kids some time soon”
