“In with my work supporting adults with autism which if you’ve ever worked in the industry they pay for you to eat with the individuals unlike what another reviewer suggests. Staff were very aware of our situation and were very attentive and polite. I would ignore reviews from people who only give 1 star reviews as some passive aggressive way of dealing with their own problems. “I went for dinner to try the tasting menu and the service was 10/10 with servers refilling our water almost as soon as we ran out and they asked us if we would like a top up of ginger after we ran out as well, the courses came out almost immediately after we finished the last and they cleared our dishes as soon as they were finished. The food was so tasty- I’d highly recommend Teriyaki chicken as a main because the sauce was delicious. Also my first time trying a few things like chicken gyoza and Mochi. They were both so so good! The atmosphere was so lovely, the restaurant wasn’t busy so we could hear ourselves talking. It would be a great place to go eat alone as-well because it is so quiet in there. They also do take-aways which we noticed while we were eating. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back again.”

“Lovely meal on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was quite empty to start but then started filling up. Service was quick and our server, Mitch, was really friendlyvand helpful. We have the Pizza Express app so got a special deal on the Romana pizzas, even though one came with gluten free base. Food was hot and delicious. We had the double dough balls to start, shared between 3 and a Pizza each, although no-one could finish theirs. Much too full for desserts. Overall a lovely evening and cost £35 each including drinks but with the discount.”

“Are you looking for sushi?! Then look no further! This place was a great find and even convinced my friend who doesn't like sushi!! The menu is large with many options. I had the combo platter which was about £25 for 20 pieces. The fish was so fresh and tasty I wanted more! The servers were really attentive, asked about dietary requirements too. The restaurant was clean and calming, no loud music just great to get out of the busy taffic of Edinburgh. Next time in in the city I'll be coming back for more!”

“wagamama's food taste is good but i will say it's not like the actual korean authentic tastebud. took chicken options but they gave same sauce for both of the different dishes...no change. service was really good. you can pay in wagamama app from your phone and by logging in can get free prawn crackers.”

After doing a bit of research I found out they are one of 3 shops in the whole of Edinburgh who actually make the doner in house and I can say without a doubt it's the best.”

The homemade potato wedges are my favourite with the parmesan and garlic & herb dip, you definitely wont regret ordering them. Most importantly the customer service I received was absolutely second to none, I'd made a mistake while ordering that needed to be corrected and the staff were wonderful about it. I was made to feel very comfortable and instantly put at ease so I will definitely be using this establishment again. Getting a takeaway actually feels like a treat again.”

“We were pleasantly surprise to find a place in Edinburgh which served "all you can eat" buffet and there was plenty of vegetarian food. Not only there was continental food but a lot of Indian including Dosa, mutter paneer, chili paneer, dal tadka, pani puri, bhel, pav bhaji and a lot more. Desserts included Jalebi and Gulab jamun. A very courteous team of people who were willing to help at every step. Absolutely awesome experience.”

The chips with cheese and curry sauce were an absolute highlight—so tasty and satisfying. Even the Caesar salad was spot-on, fresh, and flavourful. “My nephew and I popped in here on a Sunday afternoon - he was starving! - and I’m so glad we did. Our server was absolutely wonderful and I’m just sorry I never caught her name. She made a quick lunch for us seem like a big deal experience and my nephew had so much fun with the activities and crayons she offered on arrival. The only downside is that the venue was empty - a symptom of the ongoing scaffolding around the place. And I say “downside” because I mean folk are missing out - we enjoyed have a relaxing and chill experience so close to the Royal Mile. This location is well worth a visit for a quick bite - and the kids £8.95 3-course menu is a wonder given the location. Lovely experience!”
