“Fabulous local shop, always well stocked with a great selection of goods, super friendly staff. Bright and airy inside, always clean, competitively priced for what it is, open till 20:30hrs every day.”
“I stopped going to Lidl many years ago, as I found that Aldi had a better selection of products that I liked, but I will be back again since my visit today, as I ended up purchasing more than I had intended due to the restored great selection of products at reasonable prices. I need to take a bigger bag next time.”
“Decent price, probably best place to get fuel on way down to the borders and further south.”
“Good selection of stuff at an okay price, better with the app where you can get discounts.”
“Good quality and range of products. Really handy at the start or middle of a long journey. What's more, the staff always seem really jolly and welcoming.”
“I went to collect my click and collect order, but realised I had forgotten my phone, which you need. Asked at the customer service desk if there was any way I could collect without it, and she put out a call for a click and collect colleague. Someone came very quickly and advised me it was no problem at all, just to go back to my car and he would bring it out. As always I was offered a hand to pack, and was soon on my way. Thank you so much for saving me an extra journey.”
“Love this store. My kind of shop - park on roof, nip down steps. The store is small enough to get round quickly and find what you want, yet large enough to have everything you want. Top quality food, albeit pricey, excellent fruit and veg. Staff are fine, could be a bit more smiley but ok.”
“A large shop with a wide selection of products. Very tasty soups for £1.50. There is a shelf with Polish products: sausages, cured meats, cottage cheese, kefir, sauerkraut, and pickles.”
“Very helpful & polite staff. I sourced everything that was on my shopping list. Thankyou.”
“I find the staff very helpful in Cameron Toll branch. I hate the self service checkouts. Any time I'm there with a big shopping and the manned checkouts are closed, I've asked if anyone can open one. Never been refused yet. (Unlike Sainsbury's next door.☹️☹️) They're also very patient and polite. Thank you .”
“Great big store with huge selection. Particularly good selection of gluten free food items in fresh and frozen sections.”
“Gotta love waitrose. The best quality, best value, tinned sardines I can find. My cat regularly confirms the findings of my research”
“The staff are always friendly and helpful, the prices are reasonable for a convenient store. I have been there multiple times and I have nothing but good feedback to give.”
“Great store with a wide variety of authentic Indian groceries and spices. Fresh products, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. A go to place in Edinburgh for quality Asian indian ingredients!”
“This is my type of super market. It has a washroom, fitting room , plenty of space, friendly staff and automated stairs. I bought milk and juice and staff helped me.”
“Super friendly staff (seems to be run by a young family), great selection of products. Open at convenient times, and has the best instant pho I've ever had! Love this place.”
“One of my favourite shops in Edinburgh. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. I admit to being a bit of a Lidl tourist - I like to go to other venues, and have had good service in all of them, but Lidl’s at Craigmillar Shopping Centre go a little further when it comes to customer service.”
“Not been visiting Michael's long but I was greeted to a biriani and a can of juice to celebrate the two year passing of his father. Thank yiu so much Asif”
“I am from the USA and I called this place because I follow a man on YouTube Jonathan Clarke (if you're not following him then you need to, he's from over there) he's awesome. He has this awesome looking protein pudding that he eats, and I wanted it, but they don't sell it here in the USA. So I called this place looking for answers, and the lady I spoke to was very courteous and helped me out. Much love to that lady and this particular ALDIS from across the pond!”
“Great shop newly been renovated even more stocked fridges and shelves. Yummy bakery area for fresh bakes breads and pastries and sweet treats. Friendly staff”

“Good size lidil with all the usual bits”
“It was a pleasure to meet the owner who did help us with spices and other products sold in this shop. My father is in to cooking, and for a couple of years, he did shop online for powders and spices. Finally he found a shop where you can buy all the needed ingredients and where you can get advice as well. Prices are good, the store is welcoming with car park just outside the unit and products are high quality. %100 that we will be back!!”
