“I had looked at various companies with regards to getting my bedroom upgraded and eventually stumbled across Gallery Design. I visited their showroom in Hillington and was immediately impressed with the quality finish on all their bespoke displays. Afraid that their prices would be excessive, I spoke to the staff who informed me that the Company offer a no obligation house visit, planning and quotation. Taking them up on the offer, John visited my home and advised on what could and couldn't be done. He was very helpful and honest and explained that once he'd done a plan and gave a quotation that we wouldn't hear from him again unless we wanted to go ahead. No sales gimmicks and no pressure sales tactics. We were delighted with both the plans and price quoted and went ahead. Now that the bedroom is finished it is beyond my wildest dream. The attention to detail show by the team of Liam and Darren is exceptional. Bespoke as promised with quality products used throughout. I would highly recommend this company in a heartbeat and wouldn't consider getting anyone else out if I was fitting another bedroom. It would be impossible for them to live up to the standard set by Gallery Design.”

“I am genuinely in love with Godshot. After my first visit, it quickly entered my coffee shop rotation (along with Amulet, Zennor, and Kahawa Mzuri) and I have been back a number of times. The place is immaculate and serves a ever-rotating selection of speciality coffee and drinks. I am constantly impressed by the wide range of espressos from various roasters, it feels quite cliche to say, but there really is a flavour profile that would suit everyone. The staff are absolutely fantastic and are, of course, polite and friendly, but really show they understand great service in how helpful they are, and actually do try and connect with customers on a human level rather than being nice for the sake of it. They are efficent when the place is busy, but still make time for each customer, and allow themselves to connect more when its a bit quieter, which really shows they are comfertable in what they do. Godshot is much more than just coffee however, as they also offer homeware, beauty and fragerence products, and macrons. It totally fits the space and the ethos of the shop, and is just refreshing from the point of view of giving you something to browse while you wait for your coffee rather than staring aimlessly at your phone, even if it means you need to use all of your will power to stop you from buying the Malin + Goetz cannabis parfume that you constantly convince yourself that you need. This review is already far too long and I have just scratched the surface of why Godshot is one of my favorite spots in the southside. If you havent been, go. Take the plunge. You will find a new favorite spot if you do.”

“I visited this Turkish restaurant yesterday and had an amazing experience. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming — he truly made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and honestly the best Turkish food I’ve had anywhere in England. “Had our new kitchen / utility installed by Wrighton in October. Got to say from the initial discussions on layout and content Greg and the team have excelled in every aspect of the project. This was a fair sized kitchen and I admit to being unsure as to whether, rip out, plastering, electrical, joiner work and installation could be done in 5 working days. Amazingly by Friday pm we had a fully functioning kitchen and all dunnage removed from the site. I would thoroughly recommend Greg and Wrighton to anyone thinking about a kitchen project, attention to detail, great help and support, delivered as promised in military style efficiency,”

“Everything you could hope to get out of a cafe. I want with my grandfather and both of us ordered the full Scottish breakfast, absolutely fantastic, the black pudding on par with Stornoway black pudding, the egg was cooked perfectly, the two tattie scones where among the most light and airy I have ever tasted and the lorne sausage was phenomenal. The tea was amazing and so was the latte. The empire biscuit and the shortcake where also amazing. Haven’t tried the ice cream but will come back for more. The atmosphere was also amazing, great social hub and not an unhappy customer in sight, laughing from all directions and the staff where nothing but nice. 10/10 This is my last meal.”

“As soon as we arrived in store we were greated with a smile. We were offered to try 4 different mattresses that suited or needs. We found the tempur mattress was the one for us. The assistant Sheryl from the Uddingston store explained all the advantages of this mattress whilst drinking our coffee. The pillows she gave us were brilliant to try on each mattress. She informed us after we chose the tempur mattress that the pillows came free which was great as they are £149 each, but they are the most comfiest pillow I have ever used. Cannot wait for my mattress to arrive and we have upto 100 days to try it to see if we like it and if not we could return it and choose another mattress. Overall a great experience in the store.”
