“I recently stayed for two nights while traveling for work, and I was truly impressed. Wayne and Heather made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond, even offering to pick me up from the bus stop as I was traveling by public transport during a storm! My room was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with a TV. There was also a shared lounge available for extra space, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was customized to my preferences and absolutely delicious. To top it off, the views from the property were stunning! Thank you for making my stay so memorable.”

“Wonderful experience. Nice staff, welcoming as well, the café was a nice moment while we waited for the tour. It deserved a visit to have knowledge of Alexander Thomson and all his buildings around Glasgow. Just I personally don't think it is a good choice to create a rivalry with Mackintosh during the video. It's a totally different era, Thomson is one of the expressions of the New Classical style in 1850. Mackintosh started the 1900 with a real new style. Glasgow and his rich history deserve a common commitment.”

“What a gorgeous public park! It has a magical feel to it with the different layers of the park, woodland walk and there’s even a swing park for kids! Cannot recommend enough for people to take a trip here and enjoy the beauty of this beautiful place.”

“Lovely place to visit for the whole family. Very much enjoyed a walk along the pond and river, seen deers and a nice castle, also enjoyed playground and all for free. Definitely worth coming back once in the area again.”

“What a find! And thank you to the person who mentioned being a Z member. Their service was extraordinary...from early check-in, to a very nice room upgrade, to the amazing wine and cheese buffet for members on Tuesday and Saturday. The staff is friendly and accommodating...everyone and I do mean everyone went out of their way to take care of my needs... The rooms are small, but efficient and for a solo traveler more than adequate...excellent hot water, and a comfy bed with nice soft pillows... and they are close to the train station which is really nice when you have heavy luggage...Highly recommend this hotel and thanks to everyone for making my stay special (did I mention you also get wine and cheese every night)”

“My office booked the upstairs event space for an all day course. My wife dropped me off and when she came to collect me mid-afternoon we grabbed a lunch menu and weren't disappointed. I had the macaroni cheese with garlic bread and she had a tuna melt panini. It was nice to order fresh orange and lemonade and actually get it too. From the lady on reception, to the one who served us, we were very well looked after and the food was top notch. Will definitely be back here when we're in the area and would highly recommend it to anyone.”

“Had another great Tuesday afternoon in The Smiddy, entertainment was great, Elvis tribute was excellent, what a shift this guy puts in and super friendly. We all had food after the show, soup was delicious as was our mains. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to Julia, Gayle and bar staff, really working so hard to make the Smiddy a great friendly place to visit.”

“Ordered 6 large Pizzas and chicken nuggets, for a 6pm pickup. I arrived at 6.02pm and the last pizza was being cut. Extremely helpful, very tasty EVERYONE enjoyed the pizza and the chicken nuggets! Definitely would return as pizzas were fresh, flavoursome and definitely would use again. Just remember cash only BUT there is a petrol station cash machine directly across the road!”

“Smashing pub. Although they had us booked for the following week...we were there for a 'Wake'!! Nonetheless they came up trumps. Super bowl of soup, followed by plates of mixed sandwiches on each table, then a mixture of cakes , also on each table. Followed by tea n coffee. Thank you all staff for a lovely afternoon .”

“Just home from my son`s wedding & want to leave a review while it`s still fresh in my mind, no point singling out our room, or hall or any part/place specifically, it`s all spotless! The staff I couldn`t fault at all, BUT, there`s one thing that that stood out for me, the food, from the first evening meal on arrival to the breakfast on the morning we left, excellent, I`ve never commented on mash potatos before! Delicious, I`d recommend the `Shin Of Beef` if you, like me, love meat, (more gravy next time please) I was thanked over & over by other guests after their experience in this hotel (It was my son`s choice because of location for the various guests but, hey ho, I accept compliments however they come) overall, a fantastic experience.”

“Management are making great inroads to improving this hotel and restaurant. We recently attended the restaurant for a 90th birthday bash and all 10 of us enjoyed the food from the wide selection on offer. The toilets were very clean. The waiters were very attentive and efficient, also the prices were very reasonable will defo be back.”

The staff are incredibly friendly and can’t do enough for you. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. The food was top-tier, and the service was fast and efficient. “Needed a place to stay while in Glasgow for a gig and Manor Park Guest House was perfect! I'd booked late on and they were really friendly and accommodating. My room was just what I needed, really clean with a comfy bed. The location was ideal, with a lot of places within walking/cheap taxi distance. All in all a great place to stay for a great price. The next time I'm staying in Glasgow, this will be the first place I try to book.”

“A covered shopping precinct in the heart of Glasgow. It has the well known stores and some unique shops Set over 3 floors, the 3rd floor being cafe and restaurants. Ideal place to find that perfect souvenir. Well worth a visit”

The house was huge, with a stunning back room, our own private function area, two bars, a massive hot tub, and en-suite rooms for all my hens – such a luxury! The team were brilliant and quick to sort out any little issues we mentioned, which made the whole weekend run so smoothly. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate – unforgettable weekend!”
