“Wee chose House of Shah in Hamilton for our buffet for my daughter engagement party, The food was absolutely amazing , it all looked so fresh and tasted amazing !!! All our guests actually spoke of how wonderful the food tasted would deffo recommend and would definitely use again. The owner also was so nice and helpful and couldn’t do enough when we were trying to figure out how much to order etc and the communication leading up to the party !! 5 stars all the way”

“This place has been given a fantastic make over. Great service and very reasonable prices. I had the beef burger with haggis and my husband and friend had the chicken burger and the chicken fajitas, all very tasty and fresh. £6 for a strawberry daiquiri is roughly the same as Glasgow prices but they were delicious. Will definitely need to go back and fully recommend.”

“Wonderful little cafe, busy but the service team was amazing and totally kept on top of orders with the efficiency of a well oiled machine. Food was just superb, highlights were hash browns being crunchy packets of fluffy potato, & the black pudding was top restaurant quality cooked to perfection. Best breakfast I’ve had in a very very long time, and not by a small margin. I’ll definitely be coming back, just to check it’s not a one-off! 11/10 - would recommend”

“Had a fantastic dinner last night. Steak cooked to perfection and my friends had pizza (one was gluten free) and both said they were so tasty. Sharing plater was well stocked and presentation was lovely. Great food, good price and lovely staff. See you soon xxxx”

“Hosted our friends baby lunch here today and the service was amazing, the staff were so accommodating and made us a reserved sign to match how we decorated the table without even being asked. Food was amazing as well, 10/10 all round! Highly recommend, thank you”

“3rd Visit. All Visits have been great. Girl behind the bar is polite and takes good care of you. I never have to wait around for another drink. Food is good, well presented and very reasonably priced. The owner (I think) is also pleasant, nice lady to chat with. Dog friendly. They have little handmade dog biscuit's where the proceedings go to a good cause. Great establishment !!”

“Delicious meal at this warm friendly restaurant. Ideal location within easy reach of M74 motorway. We all opted for the carvery which offered a great choice of meats and an abundance of vegetables. Susan our server was lovely, and provided an excellent service to us. Highly recommend”

“The room was very clean the owners of the hotel are helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with the tea and coffee in the room. My husband and I were very satisfied. Although we did not have a car, we had no difficulty in our trips as it was very close to the train station. I recommend everyone to stay there. Thank you for everything and your face smiling.”

“Stayed at the hotel for my daughter’s wedding on the 19th July. The breakfast was good and the location is excellent. I have to comment on the level of service from Gary on front of house. He is a consummate professional and incredibly helpful. I will definitely return in future. Thanks to all of the staff for helping to make my daughters day special”

“Price for 2 pizzas with two toppings, large chips, 2litres of juice & a selection of dips was under £15 delivered! On a weekday through Justeat! Chips and pizzas were lovely! Been here a few times since it’s opened and kept meaning to do review and it’s great! Loads of choices for food and desert! Pizzas were jam packed with toppings. Fed 4 adults as they were so filling and we had leftovers! They also offered NHS Doscount. Not sure if that’s still on! Only annoyance is parking. I’ve been lucky so far but best parking at the car park next on the greggs side at the top of the street x”

“Went in for the 2 courses for £10 lunch menu and wasn’t expecting much but our doubts were absolutely blown out of the water. The food was amazing and so too was the service. Wife said the macaroni cheese was great and I honestly couldn’t fault the soup or the club sandwich. Star of the show was those salt and chilli chips. Absolute top tier. The server was great and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.”
