“I took my partner here for his birthday meal and we both really loved it! I'm a vegetarian and I was recommended the Salmon by our host Jordan. The salmon was absolutely delicious and a really good portion size! The other vegetarian options all looked good with a suprising amount of options which I was pleasantly surprised with. My partner is very much a meat eater (which is why I chose this restaurant for him) and he had a great time! He tried all the meats and his favourite was the garlic salt sirloin steak. He also really enjoyed the honey pork and the lamb. I'm also a big fan of salad bars and we both agreed that this was the best salad bar we've had at a restaurant! Lots of really nice fresh produce that you can tell hadn't been sat there for ages. We were served by Jordan, Ilona and Pusak, all were equally friendly and attentive. It was my partners birthday as I mentioned and they also brought out a cocktail on the house with a candle in it as a suprise which we both thought was very kind. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It's all you can eat which can sometimes be expensive but you 100% got your moneys worth here. We'll definitely be recommending it to others and we'll be coming back next time we're in Beverley! *we didn't take any photos because we were too busy enjoying the food!!*”

“We came here for the first time this evening and we had a beautiful meal. We thought with it being part of the golf club it might be quite expensive but it was really reasonable. The portions were big and it was all homecooked and well presented. Everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.”

Normally little shops who have regulars are "off" with newcomers and with my anxiety i cant wait to leave... well not this place I walked in and was greeted like a friend, I felt comfortable (also because the seating is super comfy) plus my little dog was welcome and got a sausage on the house! “Whilst all the other shops were closed or empty, Abbys was busy! Tucked away in Abbygate we stumbled across this place and was NOT disappointed. Highly recommend this place. Food was great. They don't scrimp on the fillings on their sandwiches. There are three tables outside for dogs.”

“My wife and I had a fabulous lunch, I got the pocklington pie and my wife got the tandoori chicken kebab both were very generous portions and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend and will be returning ourselves. Staff were very attentive and polite.”

“Had a fantastic meal here tonight for my wife's birthday. She got her hollumi fix with a generous portion on her salad, I had the chicken stroganoff which was excellent. The cocktail was lovely too. Service was spot on, attentive and friendly. All in all a great night out with great food. We will be back!”

“Booked a table here for a birthday meal. Menu varied with something for everybody. Average price is around £15 but meals coming out of the kitchen were massive and could easily feed 2 people. We opted for the Beef Stew and Dumplings and the King Prawn Creamy Pasta. Both were delicious and very very filling. There were desserts available but we had nowhere to put them! Wine is a sensible £14 a bottle. Venue itself was warm and clean and modern. When we finished our meal we took our drinks into the very comfortable Lounge. Highly recommended and we will become more frequent visitors.”

“Partner had the burger and I had the lobster ravioli asked them for less chilli as the first time I had it, the chilli was overpowering the dish. They had to remake but sorted it quickly and efficiently. Cat our server was great, very attentive. Will be visiting again soon.”

“My wife and I found ourselves hungry and tired from walking around the marina area which is a revelation to see it so much changed. (I am 81 tears old and was born in the city of Hull and know a lot about the place). We called in at the hotel to see if we could get a light lunch and were greeted warmly and our dog was welcomed as well. The meal was superb and the pizza was by far the best I had ever been served anywhere. The staff were helpful and the place was warm and clean. We were served by a guy called Adam. “Never had a bad experience with the fish bar or kingswood pizza! Food is cooked to perfection with a lot of care put into it and you can definitely taste it! The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious and to top it off the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve come across 10/10 recommend. Thankyou!”

“Jim's is a traditional fish and chip shop, and the food is cooked in beef dripping. You can taste the difference. The fish is all cooked fresh to order, and the portions are a generous size. The patties are light and fluffy with just the right amount of Sage, and the batter was perfect. There is a good choice of side dishes, sausages, peas curry, etc, and there is a kids menu. The staff are very friendly, and there is a sign saying they were voted the best fish and chip shop in Hull 2023. Jim's is a good chippy, you won't be disappointed.”

“The best cafe we found in 400 miles cycling from Devon to Yorkshire. We were made to feel really welcome, the coffee was good and strong, the breakfast was amazing and the cake portions were very generous. “Wow!! Absolutely amazing, we've tried many country pubs and none come close to the Falcon. We both had the Sunday roast and it was unbelievable, everything was hot, fresh and plenty of it, we just ran out of stomach space. We've already booked in again, but with our family this time. “There was a welcoming Atmosphere when we arrived. We were welcomed by the staff immediately when doors opened. The pub had a pleasant and warm environment. The food was excellent with generous portions.. We didn’t stay at the accommodation but would have gladly stayed as it is near a number of popular venues. There is a large carpark and free of charge.”

“My family and I have been going to Figaro since it opened and even when it was La Scala back in the day. You really cannot fault the staff or food they are fantastic. There are some foods I have never tasted better anywhere else, their steaks, prawns, tomato garlic breads and since last night, their tiramisu. Their pornstar martinis and liquor coffees are also top tier!! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! Booking in again in a few days time for my Birthday, because they’re just too good! :)”
