“Nice clean establishment. Staff were very friendly . I bought a medium doner kebab and a medium chicken kebab both with all the trimmings. Food was very tasty and the salad was lovely and fresh which makes a real change from your usual takeaway. Would definitely use again. Well done dreamland.”

We were going to dine in the restaurant earlier in the week and a very pleasant young lady took the order. When we rang to cancel - as something cropped up last minute, she thanked us for making the effort to call - nice touch from a customer service perspective. Tonight I ordered a takeaway coming back from Leeds and again a friendly young lady took the order and helped me with my choice. Now the important bit - did the food match up to the customer service ? .................you bet it did. Extremely pleased with all the various components of the meals - absolutely delighted all round, good portions, great presentation and fab tastes. Finally, excellent value into the equation. Thank you for a fabulous first experience staff and chef and of course we will be using you again.”

“After arriving at the Holiday Inn, we decided to try somewhere local for dinner. The restaurant was clean, pretty and the lady was friendly. Spoiled for choice, we ordered a few of the starters and were blown away. We then had some mains and knew we’d be coming back. “Excellent concept, students learning restaurant management, service and preparing food in a real restaurant setting to paying public. Absolutely lovely meal with a licensed bar and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed, we felt unrushed and service was fantastic. Young students aged between around 16 - 20 managed the whole experience under supervision of a front of house college tutor who remained low key and let the students experience all aspects of a restaurant service but stepped in when needed. The menu and introduction encourages customers to treat this as a full learning experience for students and to be varied and realistic with our requests..to test their experience and knowledge. It was French night when we dined and we enjoyed every course, coffee a bottle of wine and petis fours. Absolutely full to bursting with great quality authentic French meals. We are booked in for a future Italian and Indian evening and very much looking forward to returning. A lovely evening and highly recommended”

“Wow! We love the food at Lucky Yu! 'Lucky Us' to have it in our area, at the end of our road. I always have the beancurd and vegetable chow mein with added broccoli and cashew nuts, and my partner the king prawn chow mein. Never ever disappointed and always DELICIOUS!”
