βBeen to the dog field for the first time tonight. WOW what an experience my dog and my sisters dog both loved it and it was lovely to see them running around. Such a clean and tidy environment, also ever so secure made us feel safe as well as knowing no other dogs or people could come at the same time. It was an amazing set up from arriving and leaving, the idea is fantastic! Loved that the area was huge as well as the obstacle course for the dogs, also has a lovely picnic area which we will use next time! Already arranging to come back again!β
βThis was the first time we had used this field it was a great experience. The owners have thought of everything from the play park and the water pool for the dogs. The wooded area is nice and shaded for all and is a nice walk with all the little added touches. There is even a firstaid kit.β
βJust had the most wonderful relaxing weekend away at North Star Sanctum. We stayed in 'The Lotus' which was absolutely lovely. The site itself was quiet and peaceful and there was a nice little dog walk, we even saw bunnies!. The hot tub was fantastic, we spent every evening stargazing β¨ Simon was really friendly and helpful, you can tell a lot of thought has been put into the lodges. The robes and slippers were a great touch and the local cake was delicious!. The lodge was lovely and cozy with the hive heating system. There is a large smart TV and WiFi in the lodge also. The only downsides for us was that the bed was a little bit firm for our liking but that is personal preference, and that the bathroom felt a little cramped (the door would maybe be better opening in the bedroom instead of the bathroom?). Overall we loved our weekend away and wouldn't think twice about booking to visit again!β
βThe place has great atmosphere, our waiter Jesus was very efficient and extremely polite. The food was absolutely amazing. Itβs overall a lovely place with lovely staffβ
βThird time here loved every stay. Great location local amenities and a perfect break.β
βAbsolutely stunning site! Words really do not do the beauty of this place justice. We have had 6/7 visits now, our first been at Christmas the first year it opened. Andrew the owner is lovely, and on hand if you need any help or advice for your stay. He told us of his plans to add a lake more pitches etc but we didnβt expect it all in such a short space of time, he never stops grafting to improve it. We are so glad we found this place and so far havenβt gone anywhere else since as nothing compares. It is very well maintained, with accessible disabled wet rooms with seating. It has a community room you can book for a small fee, the local pub is 5 minutes walk and serves delicious food and drinks. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Plenty of walks that are accessible for my mobility scooter. The lake in daytime is stunning but the sunset over it on a night is something else. I can go all the way round with no trouble at all. The fees are very reasonable compared to some sites and the hard standing pitches are huge!! It has a large enclosed dog walk/exercise area too. I could keep going but will leave it there with a high recommendation that you book a trip!!β
βStayed here for 2 nights in our 7m Motorhome on a grass pitch (no EHU). Really good value for a fabulous site - lots of space and everything you need plus superb location - a leisurely cycle into Beverley town centre.β
βAmazing shop amazing people glad I found them. Everything Iβve bought is extremely high quality and always healthy condition. Picture of my latest purchase a few weeks back which has now split and doing amazing. Will be in to see the guys soon. UPDATE! Went back couple days ago and collected my first LPS coral, doing amazing so far the guys offer so much help and info worth its weight in gold.β
βThis is not a restaurant but a culinary experience. Served and entertained by the head chef Oumar, with Caribbean, African and Jamaican flavours and fused with a soul food twist. You can see why it's the Trip Advisor winner of 2022, 2023 and 2024, boasting an almost perfect review score.β
βAbsolutely fantastic site. Site owners , Julie & Gary very welcoming and friendly. Food 10/10 and a lovely bar on site. Facilities perfect. Site clean & tidy with the added bonus of feeding the alpacas in the morning. Wonderful experience! Will definitely return β€οΈβ
βGreat fields. Perfect for our 4 mth old puppy to run around with our 5 year old dog, off the lead. Would highly recommend. Easy to book, easy to use.β
βFrom the moment we arrived at Elm Tree Farm B&B, we were struck by the beauty and tranquillity of the location β set well away from the main road and surrounded by rolling countryside, it was the perfect place to unwind. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a bed so comfortable it felt like pure luxury. I had the best nightβs sleep Iβve had in a very long time β something I wasnβt expecting but will definitely remember! Breakfast was equally impressive: a proper, hearty full English cooked to perfection, with fresh fruit juice, cereals for those who prefer a lighter option, and excellent coffee. My wife said her pot of tea was just right β hot, strong, and flavourful, exactly how it should be. Gina, the owner, is an absolute delight β friendly, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about running a great B&B. Sheβs created something really special here. One of the highlights was discovering the private guest garden β a quiet, secluded spot that felt like stepping into Narnia. Peaceful, full of charm, and the perfect place to sit and soak it all in. All in all, Elm Tree Farm is a real gem. We felt truly cared for, relaxed, and recharged. We will definitely be back.β
βBeauty and peace here at all times of the year. My kids love it. Well worth the annual membership if you live nearby as it's not cheap for a single visit. Staff are always excellent. Lots of good gift ideas in the shops.β
βWhat a lovely time spent at Burnby Hall Gardens. Loved every part of my time there. Amazing gardens, not one better than another, very peaceful and colourful. We'll done team. The fish stole it for me,there's so many, could eat for England. Would definitely recommend you go for a visit.β
βAbsolutely cracking breakfast, fresh excellent quality ingredients, fab pot of cafetiere coffee, all cooked fresh as you wait, good portion size, good prices, can tell a lot of thought has gone into the menu & quality of food. highly recommendβ
βLovely quiet place to enjoy your surroundings. Dogs not allowed on this part of the beach.β
βStaff are super friendly. Prices are fair and the food is amazing. No fault to be found! See you again soon β€οΈβ
βIf the sun is out & the sky is blue you really could be in paradise just ignore the cold breeze. This beach has won awards for how clean it is . It is beautifulβ
βWe stayed a night after picking up a camper van. (Hence no stars for rooms - it's not applicable). The facilities are great - spacious shower cubicles and nice hot water! The site has good space between pitches and they have a black chicken who guards reception and 3 turkeys who are free ranging across the site. There are moorhens around the pond and the site is in a country location. The warden was really helpful. He lent us a kettle as we had no gas and was great, with advice and offers of help. A BIG thank you to him. Also we chatted with another staff member who was really nice and very friendly. Take aways can be delivered (we needed one as we had no gas!) - we had Indian but I believe there was also Chinese and Kebabs available. We enjoyed our meal & ate in the bar where there is TV. Shame we were only there for the nightβ
βSuperb! Slightly disappointed we never saw Michael McIntyre but the lovely food and service made up for itβ
βJust spent 2 nights in the POD. was fabulous. beautiful cozy little site. Clean, well laid out double bed and with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and even crockery. Wow what a lovely hard working family too. They have plans for this site.....watch this space. See you soon Viki and family βββββββ
βTop notch food, excellent attentive service in a cozy atmosphere.β
βA real gem of a campsite situated 40 minute bus ride from Hull city Centre and 30 minutes into Beverly Centre. Beautifully kept site with a lovely wild foul pond in the centre pizzas and pies served weekends during peak time but was closed while we were there. Very secure in and out of the site. The owners were really friendly and accommodating helping us with Taxi information and bus services. The toilets were quite dated and although the water was nice and warm when you turned it off, it was freezing cold standing in the shower units as they were not heated however they are just in the process of building a new shower block which will definitely add Great facilities to the site which is already exceptional. Five minute walk to great garden centre with lovely cafΓ© for breakfast and a 15 minute walk to the local ship Inn pub we didnβt use those facilities but easy to get there.β
βCerutti 2 is by far my favourite place for seafood/fish in Yorkshire ( yes including Whitby and in years gone by, The Drum and Monkey in Harrogate). This family run business prides itself on the best quality, food, wine, service. When you walk through the door you can smell the aroma of great food from a proper working kitchen..no ready meals waiting for a microwave ping at this establishment. Tina, Tony, Dom and staff are excellent at making suggestions if you are struggling over the wonderful choices and 'specials board'. Nothing is too much trouble..and you are treated exactly the same, whether you're going through the full menu or having a simple dish of Fish & Chips.β
βStayed here for just the 1 night in the motorhome but weβll definitely be looking to return in the not so distant future. Very well kept site, the lady who ran it seemed pleasant and helpful enough on arrival. The regulars seemed friendly enough. The weather was glorious so they all congregated on a couple of benches in the middle and looked to be having a good laugh over a few drinks and Just before 11pm (quiet hours) all went off to their caravans. Didnβt bother us at all as we was outside until gone 10.30pm enjoying the weather. Facilities all good enough and what youβd expect on a site. Great location, less than 5 mins drive to the centre of Hornsea or the sea front. We will 100% be looking to return on several occasions as Hornsea is one of our favourite spots along the East Yorkshire coastβ
βWowβ¦ this was incredible! We had been meaning to visit for a while and now wish we had been sooner. The food was cooked fresh to order and could be smelt from where we were sat. The food was served within 15 minutes of ordering and was so delicious and flavourful. We highly recommend and will definitely be returning!β
βI ordered Chicken Tikka Karai, Mushroom omelette, and Tarka dal. All 3 dishes were excellent in quality in terms of taste, potion size and freshness. I came to Hull for work and randomly found this Indian take away on Google map. I have been eating McDonald's, Subway's and Greggs. Today I thought I'll have some hot cooked food and fortunately I found this place right opposite to my accommodation in Holderness road. I was surprised to eat such high quality fresh food with right amount of spice and excellent taste. I will definitely recommend this take away restaurant and I will give a more than Five star rating.β
βWe absolutely loved coming here! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We rented kayaks and wetsuits and buoyancy aids were all included in the price and were in good condition. The highlight for us was how dog friendly it was, and I had my pup out on the water with us in the kayak! There are toilets and changing areas on site with showers. Thank you Sue and team for a lovely afternoon of water activities. We'll definitely be back.β
βFantastic food, decent portions, and lovely friendly staff. Would recommendβ
