βI had the most incredible experience at Hazelwood Castle Hotel and Spa β everything was simply amazing! From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel so welcome and cared for. Emmaβs communication throughout was excellent, keeping everything smooth and stress-free. Steve and Amanda were incredibly approachable and friendly, always ready with a smile and helpful advice. Max truly stole the show β his professionalism, understanding, and ability to accommodate every need was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect, and most importantly, he made my proposal come to life in the most magical way. I couldnβt have asked for a better setting or support for such a special moment. A huge thank you to Max and the rest of the wonderful team at Hazelwood Castle. You made my visit unforgettable, and I canβt wait to return!β
βHad a fantastic 2nd birthday party here. The staff were extremely helpful, the facilities are clean and lots to do for younger children. Would recommend!β
βWe always enjoy visiting with the grandchildren and appreciate the extra activities we sometimes find like the donkey rides and face painters. The outdoor area is a bonus & is open most of the year except for really bad weather days. My only gripe is having to let the kids choose their ice cream flavour at one counter, then queue and pay at the main till, then move back to the ice cream counter to remind the staff which ice cream we want only to realise that juice and sprinkles each cost extra and need me to go back and queue at main till to pay the extras. Maybe a price list on the main counter itemising all the ice cream prices would help. Other than that itβs a favourite.β
βOur Sewing group meet here twice a month it's a very friendly inclusive place.β
βStaff friendly and always happy to see youβ
βGreat place for football, easy and cheap booking, easy place to locate tooβ
βEven though we didn't get loads of happenings we did receive visits. Couple of young ladies took few selfies in the mirror and on looking back at it we could see what looked like monk standing over her shoulder. Had few issues with the camera here as well. Never had this issue beforeβ
βThis community centre offers all you would need for an event. The staff responds to email quickly and kindly. Kitchen is fabβ
βLove this area. Paths are well laid out and most of them are mobility scooter/wheelchair friendly. Great to let your dog off the lead. Not just paths but nature areas as well. Highly recommendedβ
βAbsolutely amazing, staff were great, place was great and even accommodated a large party on short notice of another venue letting us down. Would recommend to anyone for drinks, food or bookings!! You don't get business owners in public houses like this anymore, Sam, Sharon and the team are a cut above the rest!β
βVisited for the first time - ticked all the boxes for us - something for the older ones, something for the little ones, and cuppas for us mums! The online booking system almost foiled me but staff were really helpful about it. The booking system also meant it wasnβt too crazy busy as these places can get - even tho itβs school hols. The stompers section was pretty much what youβd expect for a soft play, the addition of the wrist band made it a bit more interesting for our 6yo. Our 12 yos are obviously way too old for soft play but they loved the tag x experience and said theyβd definitely like to come back and do it again!β
βLovely place run by truly amazing people. Sue, Chrissie, Lisa all of them are so helpful.β

βWe regularly take our Labrador for walks around here lovely area for dog walking.β
βCan't fault this place for kids, especially on a rainy day. Β£6.50 entry free for 3 years old plus, with unlimited time allowed here, so that's a bargain. The menu choices are surprisingly decent, and portion sizes are big. They have a kids menu too, and not everything on the adults and kids menu is unhealthy food. Prices for food are really reasonable, which is nice to see in these times. Sometimes, older kids play in the toddler area, which is annoying, and i would have preferred it if the staff were a bit more vigilant with regards to this. That said, the staff, mostly young people, were all very friendly and polite. I liked being allocated a table on arrival, that's a good system here, particularly when it's so busy.β
βIs a really good play place for kids took my grandson a few times now he loves it playing in the ball pool and going down the slides will most likely have his birthday party there in the future :)β
βWe had an amazing time at 4D Mini Golf with the whole family! The immersive experience was fantastic, with vibrant neon colors, cool 3D effects, and a fun layout that kept everyone entertained. It was a perfect mix of challenge and excitement for all ages, making it an unforgettable outing. The staff was friendly, and the facility was well-maintained. Highly recommend this place for families looking for a unique and enjoyable activity together!β
βSuch a fantastic place to have a party. They do everything for you and make this such a brilliant party. The party planner was incredible with the children and took all the stress off me. We had a large party of 33 and all the children said how much they enjoyed it. I would absolutely recommend Kidzplay for a party!β
βCheeki Monkeys BIG Baby and Children Market was excellent. Lots of bargains in a warm friendly environment. Bouncy castle for the kids too.β
βSt George's Square is a clean and open space in Huddersfield town centre. It as a water feature that operates in the summer months, a large, bronze statue of one time prime ministers Harold Wilson who was born in Huddersfield. The stunning buildings that surround the square include the grade1listed railway station that was opened in 1847 and described by John Betjeman as "the most splendid in England." The station incoperates 2 bars at either side. Another architectural and historical building is the grade 2 listed building, The George Hotel which is where in 1895 the birth of Rugby League took place. This hotel is presently closed but rumours continue to circulate that this one time splendid hotel may be opened in time for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The whole Square is surrounded by some of Huddersfield's most impressive buildings which also include Lion Chambers, Britannia Buildings and Tites building to name a few. St George's Square hosts many events including in December a four day Food and Drink festival and Festival of Light just to name a couple. In the summer months this Square is a vibrant, busy place and a real treasure of Huddersfield.β

βFantastic community center helping the needy and training courses to help with finding jobs. They have a well organized staff and I think they deserve recognition for the passion and hard work they put in every single day to welcome EVERYBODY from all over. I have been a few times and it's been lively and people are at peace and happy to get help. I recommend this community centerβ
